About this deal

Mr Sutton adds: "I take a great interest in serious crime and how it's investigated. I've got friends and indeed family still within the police and I keep in touch with what goes on in that way.

PC Kane Ellafi told the court he was involved in detaining the defendant after his car was stopped in central London following a 135mph police chase.Another message on March 25 said: “I think and strategise every single day how to murder my mother and co.”

Thomas Schreiber is on trial for the murder of millionaire hotelier Sir Richard Sutton and the attempted murder of his mother Anne Schreiber - who was Sir Richard's partner - on April 7 this year. He adds: "There are lots of reasons for that - reassuring people and, I suppose, waving the flag slightly in what are difficult times for the police." There's always room for improvement. Police officers are taken from society and society has these elements of sexism, homophobia and racism sadly within it. He added: “This was not the actions of a demonic monster but someone in need of help and intervention.” Author and journalist Duncan Campbell believes Wang did not have a fair trial, telling the Guardian in 2018 there was evidence that "would almost certainly have led to his acquittal"

The fatal incident happened at Sir Richard’s Moorhill estate near Gillingham, Dorset, which he shared with the Schreiber family following the separation of the defendant’s parents.

He said a colleague then tasered the defendant “to stop him from killing himself” after which Schreiber shouted: “Just kill me, I pay your wages, I ask you to kill me.”

They really hurt me, betrayed me and destroyed all trust. Simply put I contemplate murdering them all morning, day and night. It’s not what I want to think about but it’s the truth. I want them to suffer.” Sutton owned a portfolio of leading hotels in London. His company owns the Sheraton Grand Park Lane and the Athenaeum, as well as three other venues.

This included that a neighbour of Mr Chappelow had faced burglary and murder threats when Yam was in custody and that the victim had been a frequent visitor to a gay cruising spot of Hampstead Heath A police officer in Gillingham, Dorset, following the death of Sir Richard Sutton Credit: Jonathan Brady/PA Don’t forget to add all the important details and party highlights that made your party one to remember! And be sure to attach some pictures!!! She said: "Tom comes into the kitchen. Tom looks unusual, I think that is the best description, his eyes are quite, weird is not the word, almost frightening look, because they look terribly, terribly determined." The court was also shown a text message sent by the defendant to his sister on the day before the killing in which he wrote, having mistaken the date: “Raising a glass to dad who passed away eight years ago today. RIP. You remember right? Your real father David, not the one who ‘bought you’ who you call your father… cupboard love.”Jailing Allan to three years and nine months, Judge Michael Topolski KC said: “The circumstances that led to the defendant causing the death of a perfectly respectable, wholly innocent stranger who happened to be passing by are as extraordinary as they are tragic. The sudden and exceptional nature of the circumstances that led to his death have, I am sure, significantly exacerbated the family’s feelings of disbelief, distress and anger at the nature of his passing.” The trial heard that the defendant was angry with his mother for “abandoning” his father, who suffered from depression, to move in with Sir Richard and accused her of being a “gold-digging bitch”. Police were later called to Sir Richard’s home Moorhill, in Higher Langham, and found a trail of blood as they cleared room by room.
