Image Quality: Still Great

The 24 MP sensor is great for general photography purposes. And the 6000 x 4000-pixel images are fine for heavy cropping or large printing if you use the right lenses and settings.

Nonetheless, several factors such as lens quality and shooting conditions affect the continuous shooting performance. Interestingly, the larger buffer in the A6700 means it can sustain its burst shooting for longer. External app is better in two respects: a) would not further clutter already busy camera menu, b) would be simply more convenient: my phone has 7.2" inch screen with multi-touch support, polished UI primitives etc.; we won't have comparable capabilities in cameras for decades, if ever.
