About this deal

Sure, we’re not seeing some of the eye-popping savings we might in future issues, but it is still early days – and ultimately, we’re looking at savings in the region of 50% via both magazines. Whilst these kits aren’t high value, any cash saved is always good.

This is everything you could get if you paid for the whole thing, so actually an insane number of minis and some really big ones with some dragons and giants! There are five miniatures available in this month’s Stormbringer delivery – and some of them are pretty nice. I happen to have painted versions of all these minis already, so have a look below for some ideas as to what you could do with yours. If you like what we’re doing here you could really help encourage more content with a share on any social media platform. In what appears to be the last model of the magazine, we do end on a high – perhaps the Swampboss could have gone before the dragons, but it’s a great kit all the same. The sprues are spread over 2 issues. Warhammer Stormbringer 80 Contents Whilst a touch fiddly to build at times (there are a couple of fiddly ropes that are quite fragile that need to be attached), the end result with this model is quite impressive. There’s a huge amount of detail on this figure – especially in the three grots who are helping the Kruleboy man the weapon. The semi-sculpted base is nice too, and really helps set the scene for this miniature.

If you want a full breakdown of every model in this set, we’ve done the entire breakdown, and you can see it by following this link Ok, they are being really awkward this time when it comes to working out the value of stuff. How do we do this one? The price of Harrowdeep cut in Half? The set is no longer available it seems from anywhere. so this will be popular. I just used the current price of an Underworlds Warband.

Last of all, we have the plastic cutters. It’s a good job these are part of a free gift, because they are rubbish. These plastic cutters creep their way into starter kits across Games Workshop’s ranges or slither into partworks magazines in the hope of making it to your hobby desk and messing up your minis. “What’s so terrible about them?” you cry. Well, simple. They don’t actually cut – they crush. So, on the surface, the immediate savings are a couple of percent up when compared to Imperium. Below I will dive into the individual elements. And bear in mind, I worked this out before the March 2022 price increase to some sets. FauxHammer – Latest Video on YouTube Warhammer Age of Sigmar Stormbringer Delivery 1: Issues 1-2 Review – Introduction In oder to get you playing with your new miniatures, Delivery 5 comes with a double-sided mat. One side is that of an arid desert… There are a couple of extra bits included in Issue 1 to get you playing Age of Sigmar. First of all are a six dice.

Each Premium Kit comes with a few added extras to justify your added cash. First of all, there’s a bonus magazine. This one focusses on the Stormcast Eternals, and has my all-time favourite but of Warhammer art on the front of it: Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear, plunging into some Chaos-warped monstrosity. Stormbringer launches in the US today (Wednesday the 25th of October), and it’s absolutely rammed with Warhammer goodness. You get miniatures in most issues, and there are also tools, paints, scenery, and other cool swag available. It’s only available in the US via subscription, which means you’ll have a weekly guide to the Mortal Realms delivered directly to your door. If you’re excited for Stormbringer to hit your letterboxes this fall, be sure to follow our coverage what has come, and what is yet to come. Premium set 2 features the Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof. And once again we know what comes with that model. A Murknob with Belcha-Banna and man Skewer Boltboys(z). Like with the Hobgrots, the Vigilors in this issue are halved from the original box, coming with 5 instead of 10 in the issue. Warhammer Stormbringer 32 ContentsSomething to note with the Vindictor Prime: if you look carefully at the instructions, you’ll notice the Prime is being assembled using an arm with an ornate lion’s head on the shoulder and a shield with some additional scrollwork on the front of it. However, the numbered parts on the instructions direct you to use a plan arm and shield. Take another careful look at the sprue for the right parts – I forgot to note the correct numbers down, but they’re easy to spot. The longer a battle goes on, the more of the battlefield you cover in corruption, which makes for an interesting dynamic as your Nurglings scamper around shitting green goop while the enemy desperately gives chase, only to get reeled in by the gut-tongues of your tanky Putrid Blightkings or spewed upon by the airborne Blightlords. They're truly vile, and I love them. Ok, so we are now looking at the 4th iteration of Warhammer partworks magazines. This sequel to Mortal Realms magazine is now based around Warhammer Age of Sigmar 3rd Edition. Last but not least, Issue 18 puylls together several threads we’ve seen in the prior magazines, with some more information about Destruction armies and Stormcast Eternals, before focussing on the miniatures in this issue and their appropriate stats. Warhammer+ will launch with the first episodes of Angels of Death and Hammer and Bolter , and new animations are set to arrive almost every Wednesday . Get ready to delve into unseen corners of the Mortal Realms and the 41st Millennium, explored in a wide range of very different styles and infused with classic Warhammer storytelling.
