High density plastic ‘living hinge’ is lightweight and comfortable in your hand. If you are looking for a folder that will lie completely flat, perhaps the Choir Binder, Accompanist, or Classroom Choir folderwill work better. If you have any questions or wish to have a chat about any of the above please do call us on 07795221110 and we will be delighted to help - best wishes, Andrew And for those who just prefer not to punch holes in their music, especially when it will hit a music staff... and want the organizational convenience of a ring binder system.

Letterpress Text imprinting is imprinting with moveable type, ready for us to do in-house right away with no die-casting or logo etching processes to slow things down. Turnaround time is usually 1 to 3 business days. We offer both upper and lower case letters for excellent legibility, in either the standard 36 pt. Times Roman font, or in an elegant script-like font called Brush. We supply Plain and Printed choir folders to Choirs, Choral Societies, Schools, Universities andpride ourselves on having the experience and expertise to ensure all our customers are delighted with their new folders. Very good quality folders, all the features one wants, and very light" BARTS Choir - One of the oldest and largest choral societies in London I am absolutely delighted and totally over the moon with the finished product and I know the choir will feel exactly the same when they see them!! We supply Plain and Printed choir folders in the UK and Europe to Choirs, Choral Societies, Schools, Universities andpride ourselves on having the experience and expertise to ensure all our customers are delighted with their new folders. The usual location for choir name imprinting is centered, in the upper portion of the front of the folder, approximately 3 to 4 inches (8-10 cm) down from the top. The usual location for imprinting a singer or music director name is at the lower right front corner of the folder. Letterpress Text Pricing You can open your music score flat, and slide it in through the slot, close it around the magazine holder, then clip it in the exact spot it needs to be in your concert programme. The hand strap on the spine and stabilizing strap on the bottom make this choral folder easy to hold securely with one hand. The hand strap is nice woven webbing, not plastic! The second example is common for a concert band or wind ensemble piece. This ficticious work is for 2 flutes (plus piccolo), 1 oboe, 3 clarinets plus alto and bass clarinets, 2 bassoons, 5 saxes (soprano, 2 altos, tenor & bari), 2 trumpets (plus 2 cornets), 3 trombones, euphonium, tuba, tympani, percussion and double bass. Note the inclusion of the saxes after bassoon for this band work. Note also that the separate euphonium part is attached to trombone with a plus sign. For orchestral music, saxes are at the end (see Saxophones below. It is highly typical of band sets to have multiple copies of parts, especially flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone & percussion. Multiples, if any, are not shown in this system. The numbers represent only distinct parts, not the number of copies of a part.

Depending on the logo, you do want sufficiently large area to prevent fine detail from being obscured, or small detailed spaces filled in, when printing on the textured leatherette material. Our maximum imprint area without outsourcing is 5"x12" (or 12"x5") but logos with good line separation can be done very nicely at a 2x2 or 3x3 size, for example. Roughly 90% of the logos we print are between 4 and 12 square inches, mostly at the higher range. A school might have a crest with text beneath it, for example, and 3" wide by 4" high is usually ideal. These can look amazingly elegant whether in colour (gold is the standard option) or blind debossed (i.e. indented into the folder using heat and pressure but no colour).Principal auxilary instruments (piccolo, english horn, bass clarinet, contrabassoon, wagner tuba, cornet & euphonium) are linked to their respective instruments with either a "d" if the same player doubles the auxiliary instrument, or a "+" if an extra player is required. Instruments shown in parenthesis are optional and may be omitted.

Thank you so much for our new folders. I must compliment you on your excellent prompt service" Woodford Singers Pricing for Extended line lengths up to 45 characters (any longer line requires a different press):

Individual Folder Custom Imprinting Preview

The Performer choral music folder. A very lightweight choral music folder, designed specifically for performance. The double hinged spine folds square to fit books and large scores. Features The Performerchoral music folder weighs only 13 oz. but can hold a whole concert of music. It boasts 8 elastic cords, or add an extra set of elastic cords and have room for more music. Saxophones, when included in orchestral music (they rarely are) will be shown in the "other instrument" location after strings and before the soloist, if any. However for band music, they are commonly present and therefore will be indicated after bassoon as something similar to "SAATB" where S=soprano, A=alto, T=tenor and B=baritone. Letters that are duplicated (as in A in this example) indicate multiple parts. Magazine Holders: A magazine holder is a thin strip of plastic, with a long slot in it and three holes, to clip into your rings when you have a folder that has a 3-ring set of rings. The slot holds up to 11" tall music (not the taller A4 size). I, and the choir are absolutely delighted with the folders, the logo looks great. Thank you for your brilliant service - I will be more than pleased to recommend you to anyone interested" Ian Lingwood from Chetnole Community Choir

N.B. Don't trust the screen or print size which you see to be precise, but rather, note that we have listed the point size of each font. Made form hard wearing polypropylene, so it is durable enough to withstand classrooms and school choirs Choral folder sleeves Excellent service and very professional look. Choir are impressed and did'nt think they would look as good as they do!" James Wilder - Master of Singing & Choral Music The setup charge is based on area. Math is not your friend here, as you may recall that doubling the sides of a square quadruples the area, and the cost. 1 inch=2.54cm for the metrically inclined; the print industry here still uses Imperial measurements. Sometimes there are instruments in the ensemble other than those shown above. These are linked to their respective principal instruments with either a "d" if the same player doubles the instrument, or a "+" if an extra player is required. Whenever this occurs, we will separate the first four digits with commas for clarity. Thus a double reed quartet of 2 oboes, english horn and bassoon will look like this:We're off to Germany tomorrow; I'm sure the boys will be absolutely thrilled with their new folders" The Beethoven example is typical of much Classical and early Romantic fare. In this case, the winds are all doubled (2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets and 2 bassoons), and there are two each horns and trumpets. There is no low brass. There is tympani. Strings are a standard 44322 configuration (4 first violin, 4 second violin, 3 viola, 2 cello, 2 bass). Sometimes strings are simply listed as "str," which means 44322 strings. Whether you sing at school, in church, or with your local choral society, you’ll know there’s one accessory no choir should be without – a set of sturdy folders to protect and organise your sheet music.
