Mr Ford has with his fragrance put the spotlight on a very strange and frankly disturbing feature on Fragrantica, namely the thumbs up/down feature. I believe, a musk accord is a key in this. The perfumer knows how to manipulate with different clean musks. It is quite intense and heavy, musk heavy formulation. Galaxolide, Ambrettolide, Tonalide (vanilla musk) blended with Isobutyl Quinoline (leather), Vanillin and lots of Coumarin. This is how I imagine the base created in this. Of course, the right amount of naturals is also indispensable. Tonalide is a musk which owns different facet regarding smell, it owns vanillic aspects, in higher concentrations it could smell sharp and clean, reminding clean washing. I believe, it could work here together with leather raw materials and Coumarin giving this sharp, slightly 'rubber like' facet in this. I like this thing about this perfume. The base works here with Hedione and this herbaceous really beautifull fresh top accord. Linalool compound, Evernyl in the middle with sort of beatiful chypre naturals and alfa- beta-ionons. These ionons I have mentioned in construction with Vanilllin give this iris nuance noticeable in the middle. Oh, and I forgot about Heliotropin, which is insanely expensive raw material to work with and it is present here as well. Heliotropin gives this milky, almondy feel. I have no idea, how the perfumer blended all these things together, but He/She is really clever and has done it masterfully. I am really curious about the concept and the steps of construction of this. I will never know ;(
Yes yes, terms and meanings are strange things, aren't they? I call myself here Don Juan De Cat. And "Don" is a Spanish term for "gentleman", but who would have thought that "don" in Turkish derogatory stands for trousers or even underpants? :DD And no, I didn't intentionally name myself as underpants, even if some of you would certainly think so of me, argh! :D Whilst I wouldn't describe the picture of the model above as "pornographic", she DOES look as if she is waiting to be called to the set of a porn film. The image is misogynistic and distasteful. The Vanilla and the Leather carry themselves forward to the base notes. They are welcomed by the sensational notes that make the perfume's base: Amber, Woods, Cashmeran, and Tonka Bean. Each note plays a meaningful role in blending well with the others and creating a fantastic scent.

In that way a person hating my love for the rose can report me to a human moderator...who then can choose to react or just tell him/her to chill...... Beautifully constructed perfumery in my opinion, it speaks to my soul. I don't really care about the name and bottle design, to be very honest. The thing I don't understand is pricing policy of Estée Lauder, this is horrible. Perfumery here is very nice, as I said. Multifaceted, sweet, fresh slightly dirty, quite complex, very clever manipulation with raw materials. Definitely not a French style of building a perfume.
First of all, people who exploit women disgust me, like the picture posted above, with the womans legs suggestively spread, the fact that she's shirtless, and the drink strategically placed between her legs. It's not "cool" it's not "edgy", it's exploitation. Let's be real. The concerned note is laid well on the base of the Orris roots, which adds the powdery quality. Along the experience, from the opening to the heart and the base, the various accords define themselves too well. Every bit of note is sensed as it elegantly creates an unforgettable encounter. It is known as a Tom Ford Fabulous inspired and holds the same marvelous smell as the original. Similarly, it opens up with sweet lavender notes devoted to the heart of bitter Almond.
