About this deal

It is also equipped with a non-removable 10ml paint cup, which is a tad too large for my needs, but it’s not a big problem. A paint cup lid is also included. The airbrush is sporting a super-fine 0.18mm nozzle, which allows for a hairline spray pattern and works great for intricate Luftwaffe mottling. Identical in every way to the standard Infinity CRplus manual – just with the Cult of paint branding on the cover. Cult of Paint Infinity Airbrush Review – Parts

The Infinity requires a 1/8” connector for the airbrush hose. so if you’re using Iwata airbrush you should be fine. If you use Badger or Paasche, then an adaptor will be required. Conclusion Featuring a lightweight aluminium body and a custom-designed reversible left/right handed trigger, the Infinity allows you to paint for extended periods avoiding cramping or fatigue whilst enjoying the ultimate precision.

Infinity CRplus – Elegant chrome design

These work similarly to traditional spray cans. You just push the button or trigger and both the paint and air are delivered at the same time. It’s possible to control the amount of paint delivered by switching to a different nozzle size or by turning the adjustment knob which is present on most single-action airbrushes. A single-action airbrush is easy to use and may be good enough for priming, clear coating, or for large-scale paint jobs, but it’s not as flexible as a double-action airbrush when precision matters. Double-Action Airbrush

H&S actually has five different airbrushes in the Infinity series (but we’ll just be looking at the Giraldez version today). A face mask or respirator is a must-have for me as well. I am using a 3M half-mask. It might be difficult to get a mask now though due to the coronavirus situation. Using a needle designed to provide pinpoint accuracy all the way up to a wide base coating aperture makes it a versatile tool for every type of airbrushing job you do.If that’s not clear, the best analogy I can make here is; You know when you’re on your phone and you’re scrolling through a video or moving a cursor across some text. You’ll find you have more accurate control if you then slide your finger down the screen and drag somewhat diagonally rather than straight across. Meh, it’s the front of a box. do you care? 90% of you are buying it online anyway, I doubt very much this stands out on the shelf. Cult of Paint Infinity Airbrush Review – Unboxing Needle/Nozzle: ok, ignore the image above here. the nose on the Crplus I’ve shown is actually from my Evolution Airbrush and I swapped it out to get me out of a jam. The actual nose is identical on both units. However. The airbrush is equipped with a 9ml (1/3oz) paint cup, that’s non-removable. It’s perhaps slightly too large for most model building needs, but it’s not a big deal. There’s however another version of this brush, which comes with a smaller cup, but that one is maybe too small. I know, I am not easy to please.

The size of the provided nozzle is 0.3mm and it’s made physically slightly larger and with larger threads than similar nozzles. This allows for better centering which can normally be somewhat problematic with the screw-in nozzles. First of all, this trigger is taller than the standard infinity trigger. Thanks to the lever mechanism airbrushes use on their triggers. This wider arc allows the needle to retract a smaller distance with a larger more trigger pull.after all this he then introduces some new "sketching caps" for model making which I will freely admit look excellent for figure painting but he still isn't done with rubbishing the original CR Plus, oh no! He has to finish by pushing it aside with a lightening effect as if to emphasise how bad this version has now become. Where this lip helps is that it allows you to exert some of your extra force horizontally without affecting the needle retraction. he clearly states that the new trigger design is an "improvement on precision" but this is only "20% of his total design improvements!" ( so much for H&S offering "intelligent functions and ergonomic excellence" then!) And about the Infinity, what I like about the airbrush is that it has a tall trigger, which makes controlling the amount of mixture that is released by the gun quite accurate. But in my opinion it does not spray better than the Evolution. An advantage of both the Infinity and Evolution is the self-centering nozzle that allows artists to remove and insert the needle from the front end of the gun, which can prevent damaging the needle tip while cleaning the needle, beside the fact that no tools are required to remove and mount the nozzle.
