About this deal

This stand also comes with a stylus, so you can control your iPad without touching it or shaking it. It’s compatible with most 7-13 inch tablets and has port access, so you can charge your laptop while it’s in use. Key Features Car mounts: There are several types of car mounts. They’re usually attachable to dashboards, windshields, headrests, etc. Here are a brief list and explanation of the various types of mounts including arm holders, desk mounts, car holders, and floor mounts. Floor mounts: These can also be called standing mounts. They’re iPad mounts that can stand upright on the floor. Their heights are usually adjustable. However, don’t despair, because Magfit has thought of you, too. Enter the ‘Liquid Silicone’ case, which is designed to both protect your iPad and give it the magnets required for stand compatibility (note – the case isn’t in the image below).

The Type-C PD input on the rear of the hub can draw 100W of passthrough power, but will obviously only charge your iPad at its maximum wattage. The benefit of the 100W is that you can charge a number of devices from the hub – such as your iPhone and AirPods – at the same time. As much as I want to integrate iPads into my daily work and leisure time, they’re so easily sidelined, thanks to the comfort of macOS on my M1 MacBook Air, and the ease with which you can do everything on an iPhone these days. To summarize my experience with the X36, for me, it was exactly what I needed and wanted. It fits perfectly into my all iPad workflow. It allows me to use my iPad in multiple ways on my desk like in tablet mode, but also in stand mode. The build quality is extremely premium as well! If you are in a similar situation as I am, then this is a no-brainer. This stand offers six different angles, meant specifically for drawing, with 15, 17, 19, 35, 37, and 39-degree angles available. You won't notice rubber feet at the bottom of the stand to keep your iPad from slipping off, since this can interfere with drawing. Instead, anti-slip pads keep your iPad safely in place.Using an iPad makes many of our tasks much easier, and our daily lives a little bit better. We take them almost everywhere; they’re our digital assistants. However, there’s not a single person who’d like to hold an iPad 24/7. And therein lies the need for iPad arm mounts.

There’s just one issue – the magnets aren’t as strong as the other stands on this list. And that’s rather unnerving if you’re an iPad Pro 12.9″ owner. There’s one caveat with all of the iPad stand options I’ve covered thus far: you need a magnetic iPad to use them, and not all iPads come magnetised. Put simply, if your iPad isn’t compatible with an Apple Magic Keyboard, it won’t have the magnets required for options 1 to 3 above. Most iPads are supported (bar the iPad mini) and there’s a useful slot for your Apple Pencil, too. The case is microfibre-lined, scratch-resistant, and relatively lightweight, but it inevitably adds some bulk to your iPad. The iPad holder part of this stand is very adjustable and can rotate 360 degrees. The kitchen tablet stand itself has flexible joints, able to contract and expand several inches. You can also fold it up and put it away in a drawer when you’re done using it. This makes it an excellent holder for travelers. Compatibility: All iPads from 2017, excluding iPad mini (although some iPads require the Magfit magnetic case – see Option 4, below)

The iPad is a brilliant device, whether you’re using it to consume or create. But it has always played a rather odd role in my life. The MoKo Tablet Pillow is a soft, fabric-covered stand that is perfect for using your iPad in bed. The relaxation-friendly design means you can read an ebook or watch a movie between the sheets without worrying about hard edges or sharp corners. I’m a huge fan of Benks. Their AirPods Max stand remains one of the most popular accessories I’ve ever reviewed, and for good reason: it looks and feels like Apple should have made it.Storage: Do you have enough space for a large tablet arm mount? If you don’t, you might want to invest in a foldable device. There are so many iPads out there, it can be hard to identify the exact model you own. Do you have the iPad Pro from 2017 with the 10.5-inch screen? Or the 9.7-inch one from 2016? It doesn't help that Apple avoids the sequential naming structure it uses for the iPhone. But no matter. Besides screen size, you'll want to assess where you want to use the stand. Some folks need a portable stand that's small enough to take anywhere, while others need something sturdy and more durable to use in a commercial setting. Consider the size and material the stand is made of, too, so that it's easy to move around from place to place. Although the arm mounts can help us in a lot of ways, they’re an often overlooked or underestimated piece of furniture. They can be useful in education, business, cooking, etc. They should come with the iPad. We like that the stand will not only adjust its height and viewing angles but also allow you to rotate it 360 degrees. The last-mentioned functionality is incredibly helpful for sharing onscreen content at school and work.

However, you can’t do much more than watching videos with this iPad arm. Because of gravity, it’s basically impossible to use your iPad while it’s in the desk mount. It’ll undoubtedly wobble and shake. If you need to tap and use your device frequently, you might want to reconsider buying this product or invest in a stylus. Key Features The iBeani Tablet Holder is something quite different from other tablet stands we have tested. It’s a small bean bag, available in a dazzlingly wide range of colors and patterns (over 21), that is altogether less metallic and angular than the rest. Rather than using this as a Mac hub (losing the iPad charging is a bit of a bummer in that scenario), it does present a rather awesome use case for anyone who wants to turn their iPad into a fully-fledged multiport device, complete with SD card slots, USB-A 3.1 inputs, and a 4K@60Hz HDMI output. In my experience, iPads have to fight hard to play a role in whatever it is you’re doing. And Apple knows this, which is why they keep integrating the iPad more wholesomely into the ecosystem.
