About this deal

Nuaire’s PIV units are incredibly energy efficient; that’s been a big focus for us ever since we invented this enduring and trusted ventilation strategy half a century ago. An alternative to the LC model with the advantage of a 7 segment display located in the ceiling diffuser allowing complete control without accessing the loft. The Nuaire Drimaster Eco Heat HCS (PIV) Cures condensation dampness – PIV reduces the humidity in the air, curing condensation dampness preventing mould growth Nuaire Drimaster PIV is a whole-house form of air ventilation which is designed to supply fresh air to the whole property. In some cases, where there is a remote wet room (kitchen, ensuite, bathroom, WC or utility room) we also advise fitting extractor fans. The general rule of thumb is that anytime you notice a reduction of quality air in your home, start by replacing the filter. Nuaire Drimaster Installation

With this Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit, the ventilation unit is inserted in your loft floor. From here, it brings in fresh air from the parts of your loft that allow natural air in. This air passes through your Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit’s fan and filter. Then, it enters your home while pushing out old, stale air. It is important to note that the Nuaire Drimaster PIV Unit also meets Part F and Part L of Building Regulations meaning it is a low-energy strategy for ventilation. With this system, you can expect to enjoy a high-quality breathing environment throughout your home. This means you can expect a reduction of allergens that lead to asthma and other respiratory illnesses. In addition, you should see less condensation, mould and odours in your house. Features and Benefits Condensation is a fast-growing problem: it’s estimated that one in five houses in the UK is poorly ventilated and at risk of streaming windows, mould growth and poor indoor air quality. The average family produces up to 10 litres of water daily through simple everyday tasks such as cooking, washing, bathing and drying clothes indoors.

PIV systems create fresh and healthy living environments by supplying fresh, filtered air into a property at a continuous rate throughout a property and is our most popular method of whole house ventilation. Energy recovery ventilation systems provide a controlled way of ventilating a home while minimising energy loss. They reduce the costs of heating ventilated air in the winter by transferring heat from the warm inside exhaust air to the fresh (but cold) outside supply air.

You will also need to make sure that Building Regulations Part F is complied with, as the PIV unit does not act as an extract ventilator. Invented by Nuaire in 1972, the technology is now installed in over a million homes. It’s tried, tested, and trusted. How does Positive Input Ventilation work? Need to return a product? No problem! Hopefully you’ll never need to return an item, however, if you do, it is our aim to make this process as easy as possible.Further, most new homes are insulated from heat loss using modern materials. As well as preventing heat from escaping, these can also prevent moisture from escaping. Consequently, this leads to a buildup of moisture which precedes issues with condensation and mould. Suitable as a social housing ventilation solution, we have 7 different model types, starting with our basic model below that have been designed for occupant preference and house type. It’s important to note that this unit doesn’t in itself provide any extraction of water. Instead, this PIV unit works by pumping fresh air into your home. When this happens, the old air is forced out and your condensation levels are lowered.
