About this deal

Development Tools. If the Software includes development tools, such as scripting tools, APIs or sample scripts (collectively “Development Tools”), and unless there is a separate agreement between You and Roland or Roland for the Development Tools, You may use such Development Tools to create new scripts and code for the purpose of customizing Your use of the Software (within the parameters set forth in this EULA and in the Development Tools themselves) and for no other purpose. Mere looking at the Roland GO Piano series, you get the sense that portability is the primary design philosophy behind their construction. The 61-key version is 34.56 inches wide, 10.7 inches deep, and 3.2 inches long. Expectedly, the 88-key version is bigger. It is 50.5 inches wide, 11.5 inches deep, and 3.4 inches long.

The in-built speakers do as good a job as they can to reproduce the low-end of a piano or organ, but unfortunately, they simply aren't big enough to accurately portray the bass response typically found in a real piano. That said, the Roland does come alive when you use a quality set of studio headphones. This allows you to hear the voices in their full glory. You can choose from a variety of 22 genres via the front panel +/- buttons, with a different set of loops available for each genre, which go from Trance to J-Pop via Hip-hop and Reggaeton to name just a few. Once you have a groove going, you can either jam over the top with the selected sound across the entire keyboard, or enter Chord mode, in which the lower octave lets you dictate which chord the virtual band is playing while you use the upper part of the keyboard to solo and play melodies over the top. If you have music apps, such as GarageBand on iOS, you can use the GO:PIANO as a MIDI controller, dodging the need for excessive cabling. Dispute Resolution and Binding Individual (non-class) Arbitration. All Disputes shall be resolved exclusively and finally by binding individual arbitration. This means You and Roland waive any right to litigate disputes in a court or before a jury and neither You nor Roland shall be entitled to join, consolidate, or include any claims belonging to or alleged or arising from, by or on behalf of any third party to an arbitration brought hereunder, or to arbitrate any claim as a class action, class representative, class member, or in a private attorney general capacity. If You reside in (or obtained the Software in) the United States, the arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), or JAMS. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. The arbitration panel shall have exclusive authority to resolve any arbitrability issues including any dispute over this EULA or this arbitration provision’s scope, application, meaning and enforceability. The arbitration panel shall be empowered to grant whatever relief would be available in court, including without limitation preliminary relief, injunctive relief and specific performance. Any award of the arbitration panel shall be final and binding immediately when rendered, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If any portion of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be severed and the remaining arbitration terms shall be enforced (but in no event will there be a class arbitration).

you can play simultaneously without having samples cut off. That means either of the GO-61P and GO-88P allows you to play up to 128 notes simultaneously. In reality, you can’t play up to that number. Hence, there’s very little chance you’ll ever run out of notes. Presets and effects

Ultimately, the GO-61P seems to provide a better user experience, primarily due to the presence of a screen. Performance Many of us learned piano when younger and quit. Ensure returning to the piano as an adult is more enjoyable and rewarding. Read more… More Than Keys: Piano at the Center of the Family Home I do find myself missing the FM EPs and the clav though, as versatility really takes a hit with the smaller sound selection. If you’ve used PDAs around the early 2000s, you’ll know how these buttons feel like. If you’ve never heard of PDAs, well, let’s just say that they have a reputation of being unresponsive. Right, so we've covered the piano element of the GO:PIANO, let's now talk about the "go" part. Coming in at a measly 7kg, this piano is very portable and certainly lives up to its name. Even though it covers the full frequency range of a piano, it doesn't feel bulky or cumbersome. You can easily take this instrument to piano lessons, band rehearsals or even shows, with no hassle at all. Running on batteries as well as a power supply, this Roland would also be ideal for buskers or players who need a reliable instrument when they are on the... go. I’ve been guilty of this in the past, but I found myself procrastinating when I should have been practicing because of the fun accompaniment features and beats on budget arranger keyboards. I am usually looking for keyboards for intermediate players wanting to graduate from a cheap ‘toy-like’ keyboard, or from an acoustic piano to something more portable… often it’s for a church with a slim budget. The key count is the only difference between the keys of both GO Piano variants. In comparison, the GO-61P features 61 keys, and the GO-88P consists of 81. However, their keybed is similar. Their keys are fully sized, meaning they match the size of real piano keys. This phenomenon makes the piano a perfect practice tool because it seamlessly lets beginners transition to actual pianos.
