The Flesh Hounds are the real Khorne cavalry with a Movement of 8” and the ability to get in the fray even faster thanks to the ability Hungry for Flesh. They have a weapon profile similar to a Bloodcrusher. The Gore Houndis not a leader but with Burning Roar can do some ranged damage. The Unmade have some cheap troop options and some great control abilities. How to build out of the box

How to build out of the box

In short, you have to keep the Blissful One alive while still getting it into the action. The Blissful One has a Toughness of 4 and 20 wounds, so it doesn’t go down that easily, but it can be disastrous if the enemy takes it out in one of the first rounds.

The Signifer has solid damage output, Toughness and Wounds, but if you want him in your warband, it should be because of his main function, which is to use his unique Triple ability, Stand Defiant. This allows you to add 1 to the Toughness characteristic of your fighters within 6″ of him, making the entire warband extremely resilient to anything than critical hits. The original Warcry Chaos warbands: Iron Golems, Untamed Beasts, The Unmade, The Cypher Lords, Splintered Fang, Corvus Cabal and Spire Tyrants are all models that are designed for Warcry from the bottom up. They simply aren’t as strong as the best of the rest of the warbands, but their playstyles are all very distinct and help you learn a specific aspect of the game. They also have the advantage that they all look absolutely amazing and are fun to paint. If you are playing with other friends with this kind of warband, you’re going to have fun, perhaps with the exception of the Iron Golems, which many players struggle with (they’re all about Toughness and there are many ways to negate Toughness)When a child of the tribe comes of age, they have their face flayed, cured and then attached to their armour. As they grow older, more and more of their flesh is sacrificed in painful rituals, exchanging limbs for weapons until they have completely discarded their humanity and devoted themselves totally to their gods. Readied Stance (Triple, Frenzied Rager, Pit Veteran with Dual Weapons, Pit Veteran with Shield):Add up to 3 to this fighter’s Toughness for the rest of the battle round.
