About this deal

I think that if the Nazis had more time, they might have actually won the war since most of these inventions came too late. Also, I wonder how much more scientifically advanced the world would be now if the Axis had won WW2. Power, Ed (July 18, 2019). "Why are we still obsessed with the idea of Nazis on the Moon?". Daily Telegraph. London. a b Sheaffer, Robert (January 2009). "Nazi Saucers and Antigravity" (PDF). The Skeptical Inquirer. 33 (1): 13–15. The analysis of the histories of the almost 200 countries in the world found only 22 which have never experienced an invasion by the British. Are you serious, Sir? Does the idea of a totalitarian regime using sophisticated weapons and thereby gaining domination over everyone else actually fascinate you?

Fallschirmjägergewehr 42 – an automatic battle rifle developed specifically for the Fallschirmjäger. Every schoolboy used to know that at the height of the empire, almost a quarter of the atlas was coloured pink, showing the extent of British rule. Self-propelled 75 mm Reșița Model 1943 – 2 prototypes completed and tested (reportedly, this vehicle served as the inspiration for the Hetzer, or as a significant influence in the latter's development). [6]G5N Shinzan – a prototype bomber developed as a part of Project Z, the Japanese counterpart of Amerikabomber project. Elefant (Ferdinand) - A heavy tank destroyer, mounting a 8.8 cm Pak 43/2 L/71 gun, 91 units produced. I wouldn't mind watching an alternate history movie where the Nazis had actually managed to effectively use these weapons in combat! Too bad the only widely known weapon here is the StG 44.

The Nazis were famous for their development and design of innovative weapons, including their revolutionary Wunderwaffen (Miracle Weapons). Although some of the Nazis’ weapon designs were undoubtedly far-fetched and impractical – such as the Panzer 1000, a monster tank weighing 1,000 tonnes – others were highly sophisticated and way ahead of their time – and the competition. Frank McDonough, world leading expert on the domestic side of Hitler's Germany, explains why and how Hitler was able to establish and sustain his rule within Germany. Watch Now 5. Zielgerät 1229Heinkel He 343 – a planned four engined jet bomber based on and marginally enlarged from the Arado Ar 234's general design.

Landkreuzer P. 1000 " Ratte" (Rat) –A planned super-heavy tank, weighing 1000 tonnes and armed with two 280mm cannons, one 128mm anti-tank gun, 8 20mm flak guns and 2 15mm heavy machine guns; cancelled in early 1943. In the German language, the term Wunderwaffe generally refers to a universal solution which solves all problems related to a particular issue, mostly used ironically for its illusionary nature. Merkel, Reiner (2010). Hans Kammler – Manager des Todes. Frankfurt am Main: August von Goethe Literaturverlag. ISBN 978-3-8372-0817-7. Messerschmitt Me 323 " Gigant" (Giant) – a heavy transport with six engines, adapted from the Me 321 giant troop-glider. This prototype fighter and bomber was the first flying wing plane to be powered by jet engines. Its design was a response to a call from Luftwaffe commander Hermann Göring for a light bomber that would be capable of carrying 1,000kg across a distance of 1,000 kilometres at a speed of 1,000km per hour. This article needs additional citations for verification. Cook's publication introduced the topic in English without critically discussing the subject. [5] More recently, historian Eric Kurlander has discussed the topic in his 2017 book on Nazi esotericism Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich. According to reviewer Julian Strube, Kurlander "cites from the reservoir of post-war conspiracy theories" and "heavily relies on sensationalist accounts...mixing up contemporary sources with post-war sensationalist literature, half-truths, and fictitious accounts". [6]

A story of close calls, unexplainable chances and turns of fortune, as well as unimaginable horrors. Listen Now 2. Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet Junkers Ju 322 " Mammut" (Mammoth) – a flying wing heavy transport glider, the losing competitor to the winning Me 321 Gigant giant cargo/personnel glider. Heinkel He 274 – a high altitude heavy bomber with four in-line engines with a range of 3,440km, two completed by France after the war. Granted, the Nazis were absolutely evil, but there's something about them that just fascinates me. Despite my comment above, an idea like that would only be confined to just that-a fictional movie. But that oft recited fact dramatically understates the remarkable global reach achieved by this country. Fritz X – an unpowered air-launched, MCLOS-guided anti-ship missile using the FuG 203/230 Kehl-Straßurg control system, the pioneering wartime example of a gravity-type PGM, used from September 1943 through 1944. A4/ V-2 – the first ballistic missile and the first human-made object to achieve sub-orbital spaceflight.
