Hiro/Megasoma 2 have this weird midish control, but fast feeling. Feels really nice, but I'm not used to this in FPS oriented gaming. Heavy performance hit with IR LED based illumination. The Zero is a polyester cloth pad aimed at those who like a balance between speed and control. Being a good balance, many say that the Zero soft is the safest option to choose from the Artisan lineup. The surface of the Zero feels smooth and has very consistent stitching. I felt the Zowie P-CMs glide was slower, though the smaller base makes it seem like you can force a swipe faster without feeling lagged. Of course there seems to be mixed opinion with the CM series. Durability: The Zero is allegedly slightly less durable than the Hien and some other artisan pads, I bought this pad used from r/MouseMarket from someone who said they had used it for less than a day. I would really recommend it to anyone that wants to get into Artisan Pads but they are not sure if they would like the texturing of the Hien. I think this is the Artisan pad that would cater most to the masses that use just regular old cloth mousepads, in my opinion if you are moving from a cloth pad to an artisan this is the safest option.

If you want something slow you could try the Allsop Raindrop XL, I can't really think of any other slow control oriented pads.It’s been reported that the colors of the pad can create differences in the speed and control. These inconsistencies rub buyers the wrong way as this is supposed to be a premium pad and that something like color shouldn’t show such changes.
