About this deal

I have to admit that I haven’t been to Costinesti since I was a student (that’s more than 10 years ago!) and the time spent there is mostly a blur, but I do remember enjoying my time, as well as the beach – but mostly the parties. The beach and the sea are not as important when you visit Vama Veche, replaced by the overall experience instead. But this doesn’t mean that these are not nice – however, you go there for the experience more than anything else. There are frequent and fast connections to London, with trains from London Liverpool Street to Southend taking just over an hour.

Bear in mind that some wild beaches are occasionally set up during summer. Still, they are relatively small and hard to reach. You can ask the locals about them, but I doubt that you’ll find better options than those listed here. Select your ‘From’ Departure airport & ‘To’ arrival airport, enter your departure date and number of passengers. When you feel like you’ve ventured to all of Bali’s best beaches, swam in all of its seas and soaked up all of its sunshine, head to Sanur’s main harbour and hop on a 30 minute fast-boat over to the neighbouring island of Nusa Lembongan. As Bali’s lesser-known and quieter sibling, Nusa Lembongan has a whole host of stunning beaches that are relatively untouched. Dream Beach is one of the most famous (and loveliest), and though it’s garnered quite a bit of tourist attention, it’s still no match to mainland Bali. Hire a scooter to really explore this teeny island’s coastline, and look out for Mushroom Bay, Sandy Bay and Paradise Beach too. The names say it all… Another one of the best beaches near Bangalore is the famous Varkala Beach. With cliffs right next to the Arbian sea, this place is a sight to behold. There is a temple right next to the beach as well that you must surely visit. Take part in adventure activities like horse riding, parasailing and much more at this wonderful place. Situated in Kerala, this beach is quite the road trip from Bangalore. Part of the set of resorts with their names coming from the Greek gods, Venus is the place that grew the most (out of the bunch, at least) in recent years. It’s still not as popular as others and not as party-oriented, so better for relaxing.Since moving to Constanta, I’ve started to appreciate the beaches in the city a lot more than before. Nice beach, I appreciated that it was very clean and the music was very relaxing. I could take nice drinks and enjoy the nice sea. Very nice staff too, What can I say? - indeed it is a beach like you rarely see in Romania (or almost never) - definitely there will be people complaining about this and that. Kuta Beach on Google Maps 23. Dreamland Beach – the “New Kuta Beach” No longer a secret, Dreamland beach in Uluwatu bustles with surfers and sun-soakers. (Photo by Devon Daniel on Unsplash) Promenade Beach in Pondicherry is known for its lively experiences. This 1.5-kilometer long beach is one of the best places to visit in Pondicherry. If you are interested in leisurely strolls and don’t mind traveling to the serene island then Promenade Beach is surely one of the best spots of you. It is also one of the nearest beaches from Bangalore. This place is also surrounded by some of the best historical places in Karnataka.

Gunung Payung Beach on Google Maps 21. Melasti Beach – best for a scenic drive Drive down the iconic road to Melasti, and you’ll find pristine white sands and party vibes! (Photography: Oktomi Jaya on Unsplash) Caves: Peştera Sf. Ioan Casian, Peştera La Adam, Peştera Adăpostul Rândunelelor, Peştera Gura Dobrogei, Peştera Ghilingic, Peştera Mireasa, Peştera Cariera Nouă, Peştera Babei. Located near Folkestone Harbour and the town centre, Sunny Sands Beach has such amazing sand that it’s home to the annual Folkestone Sandcastle Competition. Fuel up with some of the best ice cream and fish and chips in the area while taking in the views, with Folkestone’s famous mermaid statue looking over the shore. Getting from London to Sunny Sands Beach by train Beach bar is very well equipped serving from many variations of coffee to smoothies, lemonade with mint, berries, etc. Since Romania’s most liberal and joyful beach is not an option anymore for those who want to escape consumerism and get ripped off, I want to suggest some other beaches in Romania. Hopefully, they won’t end up the same way.

One of the most popular places in Chennai, this is one of the longest natural and urban beaches in our country. It runs about 6 km and attracts a large number of tourists every month. The beach itself is dotted with little stalls selling jewelry made of seashells, little trinkets and souvenirs that you can shop. Food stalls also surround the shore and you will also come across some quaint cafes and eateries nearby. Botany Bay is a beautiful beach surrounded by white chalk cliffs close to the town of Broadstairs. Parts of this Blue Flag beach are designated as ‘clothing optional’ although this stretch of coast also attracts families and dog walkers. And having in mind that Costinesti remains one of the most popular destinations, especially for the younger folks, I’m sure things haven’t changed much! Plaja Tuzla is a modest beach in a village which is becoming increasingly popular with those wanting to escape the loud beach music and barbeque smoke. It’s one of those old resorts which was famous for its nightlife and low prices, even during Ceausescu’s time. Also, bear in mind that most remote beaches have no toilets or showers. It might not be a choice for everyone. Still, I advocate for wild and pristine beaches, not the kitsch beaches that seem to represent the Romanian coastline. These would be my recommended beaches in Romania, ranked from 12 to 1. As I said, you can basically visit them all in one day if you have a car and see which one fits your needs best. Dreamland Beach was aptly named by the Aussies, and is now known as the new Kuta Beach, despite its location in Uluwatu, far away from the Kuta crowds. Dreamland was once a hidden gem, but due to its bright white beach and popular waves, surfers from around the world come to visit this white sandy bay. Build sand castles, sunbathe, or get amidst the aquatic action – Dreamland is your wonderland!
