About this deal

If you want to go from a dark color to a light color, you’ll need to bleach your hair first. Be sure to do a strand test to make sure your hair is light enough, and to determine how much bleach to use. Once your hair is light enough, you can dye it the lighter color. Hi! I am Joe, the inventor of the BLEND FREND™, the world's first blending tool for short hair. I have been a barber for over 20 years and I did my very first haircut at the tender age of 13, which made me realise the passion I had for mastering the skill of blending. This was before the days of Youtube and broadband, even before the IPhone. I taught myself the art of blending hair, without visible blending lines and patches and mastered this skill over the last 20 years.

Simple Ways to Do Clipper over Comb: 15 Steps (with Pictures)

Each thinning shear that we’ve discussed is readily available in a range of sizes and with a differing number and spacing of teeth and this can impact on your end result too. It’s important to bear the following teeth-related points in mind when choosing your shears;- There are a few different ways to go about blending your hair with a comb. The first is to use a comb to distribute a conditioning product evenly throughout your hair. This will help to soften and tame any frizz, and will also make it easier to blend your hair.Keeping in mind if you remove too much weight it can cause the style to be lost and it not look funky at all!

Blending hair with scissors is a skill that takes practice to master. It’s important to have the right tools and techniques to achieve the desired look. I've said many times already how to use it is down to the techniques you use when using your 'blending shear' However the most common technique used obviously scissors over comb.To use a blending shear is so broadly used but when using the shears for the right thing the results are just beautiful! Blending shears also known as texturizing shears or thinning shears are usually the greatest to remove weight especially in techniques like scissor over comb or my favorite a to add texture to a bob haircut that may not necessarily need texture added but a little blending never goes astray with texture. If you want to make their hair look like it has more volume, try positioning the comb diagonally instead of horizontal. Cut in sections around their head until you reach the other side. Place your comb at the bottom of their hairline to start the next vertical section of the haircut. The length of the shears also plays an important part here too, for example, if two thinners have the same number of teeth but one is 6” in length and the other is 8”, the teeth spacing with be different, with the smallest teeth and the smallest spacing offering a smoother result.
