About this deal

The Automatic mode will begin recording as soon as you start playing. The Count-in mode gives you a bar of rhythm set at a tempo of your choice (using a tap tempo button) before it starts recording. The external pedal on the contrary appears to always stop AND clear the loop. There’s some logic to this, since you can use the RC-1 to stop without clearing. Compared to the RC-50, these are extremely minor complications 🙂 Footswitches: The RC-600 features 9 footswitches, with 3 seperate footswitch modes which you can toggle between; giving you an unbelievable 27 integrated footswitch controls. Coloured LED indicators under each control keeps things clear in the heat of performance. You also have the option to connect up to two Expression Pedals, or up to 4 external footswitches. Get a looper that you’re not going to outgrow in the next few years. As an example, while the Ditto looper was incredibly popular when it came out, it’s incredibly basic. A lot of guitarists enjoy using it for a while, then start noticing it’s limitations. While guitarists have been using the RC-30 to play full songs for many years, it seems the RC-10R is now a much better pedal for this purpose.

The RC-5 features the capability to import and export digital audio between the pedal and your computer in full 44.1 kHz 32-bit WAV format. The RC-3 is for guitarists looking for a simple looper that has room to grow with them. Basic loopers like the RC-1 or the Ditto can begin to feel limited after a while. There’s another undocumented setting that appears to change the way the led indicator works. Er, did I miss something?Inspired by the Digitech XP-300 Space Station, the Red Panda Tensor takes the basics of a looper and expands massively upon what you thought was possible. If you’re looking for some properly out-there sounds from your looper pedal then this is the one for you. Credit is provided by a panel of lenders with whom we have a commercial relationship (so we cannot provide independent advice). If you’re looking for a simple looper and you don’t need the extra features in the other loop station models, compare this pedal against the RC-3 and RC-5 to decide which is right for you. Play - This plays the original recording, all the layers you have overdubbed and allows you to play along with them, without adding to the loop. This means you can perform freely without having anything added to the loop.

BOSS have constantly remained at the cutting edge of looping technology and are today the undisputed product leader of this worldwide phenomenon. BOSS Loop Stations have evolved to meet this growing demands of musicians worldwide. There have been times in the past when I bought a lower model pedal to save some money, only to regret it later on. I’ve never bought a more expensive model and wished I had fewer features. If you find yourself longing for a looper but don't want to give up valuable pedalboard real estate, then the TC Electronic Ditto+ may just be the looper for you. The best looper pedal depends on what you want from it. There is a big difference between many of the Loop Stations covered in this guide. Building on the massive popularity of the Boss looping range, the RC-1 fits in as an all-newsuper compact pedal that's the simplest and mostaffordable Loop Station ever. 12 minutes recording timeThe RC-500 basically takes the brains of the RC-5 and puts it in a bigger enclosure to give you far better control over your loops and rhythms. External footswitch support: the number of footswitches plays a big role in how flexible a looper can be. While there’s a lot you can do with one footswitch, adding an extra footswitch can make a big difference. Buy with confidence: We're the only UK guitar retailer to offer a 3-year warranty & extended Christmas exchange as standard. You can use your looper pedal just like a regular guitar pedal, placing it at the end of the chain with the input coming from the last pedal on your pedalboard and the output going to the amplifier. You can also set it up in your effects loop if your amp has one, by routing the input on your looper to the ‘send’ on your FX loop before plugging the ‘return’ on your amp into the output of your looper pedal. Can you use a loop pedal with any amp?
