She’s kinda annoying like what do you mean “I’m ThE oNe ThAT cArRiEd HiM aWAy” you are the dumb btch that made sure his knee and dreams got destroyed so maybe you gotta shut that big mouth of yours. The Gallos and the Griffins are two mafia families fighting to take control of Chicago’s underground world.

He accuses them of Stealing a watch from his place and although they deny it, Aida knew she truly had the watch. A fight between Sebastian and the bodyguard soon begins with Sebastian taking a beating from the man who “looks like a boxer.”Brutal Prince is a beautifully written book. We all know this by now. What makes brutal Prince special is its ability to draw you in, making you want to read more and more until all you can do is wallow in daydreams about the characters and the lives they are living. Their bitter rivalry reignites when Aida, the youngest and wildest Gallo sibling, crashes a party at the Griffin mansion, accidentally setting fire to the library. Then Papa goes into his office to have his second nightcap, while Sebastian, Nero, and I all sneak downstairs.

Description: “Anton” is a mafia romance, full of danger, forbidden love, and bloody retribution. It’s Book 5 of the Underworld series — a prequel to “Roman”. It’s a standalone novel, complete with HEA and no cliffhangers. Intended for mature readers only!!!

I had some high expectations for this book because so many of my friends love it and Sophie Lark in general. Brutal Prince is book 1 in the Brutal Birthright series, which is centered around this group of siblings in an Italian mafia family. It’s an enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience mafia romance between two rival mafia families, which should've been PERFECT for me. But sadly I struggled a bit with this, mainly because of the hero. The Griffins and the Gallos have been battling for control of Chicago’s underworld for generations. Here, you can find more about every Sophie Lark book, and its characters, as described by the author herself. Underworld Series

When it comes to life, Lex has chosen an unusual path. She’s not only a heart breaker when it comes to men, but she makes her living as a thief. She’ll do whatever it takes to pull the wool over men’s eyes and feels entitled to take what she wants from them. She’ll be even more interested in taking it if it is expensive. I don't like this new quiet Aida. It makes me nervous, wondering what she's up to. I like it better when she blurts out whatever she's thinking as soon as it comes to her head. Even if it really pisses me off in the moment.” Author’s additional notes: “You asked for it, you got it! I’ve never received more requests for a book. This is for all my rowdy Love Larks, because you deserve it. Sabrina Gallo and Adrik Petrov are fire and fire. Their relationship is an inferno that could burn the world down.” Standalones Do not forget to recommend brutal Prince by Sophie Lark to someone out there. You might just make their day with that! Aida crashes the party, but then she gets to encounter Callum Griffin, the first son and heir of the Griffin family. Knowing meeting him like that would incite controversy, she tries to find a way out of the house but ended up doing something even worse: she set the house on fire!

You know that scene where he put his hand on her thigh and she slapped his hand away? And he continued and then she slapped him on the face and he still had the audacity to kiss her and another smut scene to come?? I know this is part of dark romance, but consent means so much to me 😭 I have read dark romance books where consent was always there and in this book, with that scene, it wasn’t really there. In the end she may have liked it but still The first few chapters couldn’t have me invested in the story. Nicely written, yet predictable, it had more political aspects than mafia. Of course, Brutal Prince is slow sometimes, but isn’t all good books like that at some point? I would give this book nine stars out of ten, and I assure you that you will enjoy it as well. But Sebastian, Aida’s immediate older brother would not take the bullshit from their eldest brother. He gets out of the car and Aida follows. After a while, they are having another nice night, buying themselves good things. Until Callum shows up with his bodyguard. Dante is the oldest, so he sits on my father’s right-hand side. Nero’s on the left, with Sebastian next to him. I’m at the foot of the table, where my mother would sit if she were still alive.
