About this deal

Use animal plunger cutters to cut the animal shapes. Plunge the dough, remove any excess dough from around the edges of the cutter, then carefully ease the animal shape out directly onto the prepared baking sheet. Note, the biscuits don't spread much so you can place them all fairluy close together on the tray. Lastly, if you enjoy these biscuits, I would be really grateful if you could leave a star rating or review on the recipe card below. Technically I made these for my daughter to have as a treat, but I’ll admit I ate A LOT of them. She loved them too and they were surprisingly easy to make, so I know I will be making these now on a regular basis. Once you've cut as many animals as you can from that first roll, reform the excess into a ball and roll out, repeating steps 4-5 until you've used all the dough and have a tray full of animals! This recipe makes about 20 chocolate animal biscuits, assuming you are working with fairly small cutters. They are so munchable, if you have time I recommend doubling or even tripling the recipe and making a small jungleful of them!

Place each chocolate side down on the lined tray, pressing lightly to ensure the chocolate and the biscuit are fused together. Once you've done them all, pop them in the fridge to set.
