About this deal

To clean computer fans, components and hard to reach places, many people use compressed air cans. These produce a high-pressure stream of air to dislodge dust without causing static charge buildup that can damage computer components (that’s why you should never clean your computer with a vacuum cleaner). My Mac was terribly infested by the chill tab virus. <…>. No way to clean my mac manually. Combo cleaner did it, I only had to restart my mac twice. So, it’s not cheap but it certainly does the job.

The lightweight and robust design houses an industrial 550W (0.9hp) motor that will never lose pressure and is built to last Weighing in at just 950g, the CompuCleaner Xpert can be used at any angle unlike canned air making it super manoeuvrable mine has a dodgy switch but takes like 30 seconds and my PC is cleaned out. obviously blasting it outside in the gardenIt's best aspect is that it blows - strongly if you need it to. If you clean your PC/laptop regularly (as you should) then there aren't clouds of dust for you to breathe in. If you left the PC/laptop for many years before cleaning then you'd get dust clouds whatever tool you used - but that would really be your fault. With a 45000 RPM cleaning fan plus rechargeable cordless design, this piece of hardware provides powerful suction with an impressive running time of up to 30 minutes. The CompuCleaner is lightweight and ergonomically designed to enable maximum manoeuvrability for the best cleaning results. With a 3 metre long power cord, the CompuCleaner can be comfortably used at any angle without freezing or releasing moisture like aerosol air cans. Soon to build my first ever PC and figured I should get some practice by dissembling my old PS4 and PS4 pro and cleaning them from top to bottom. I bought this kit in advance (as I didnt really fancy using compressed air) to clean out the dust that I knew would be in the fan and the heat sink (as well as the mobo) but wasnt sure how powerful it would be...but holy smokes it surprised me. I suppose compressed air cans that you buy give more accuracy for more delicate cleaning (especially in tight spots) but the blower featured in this kit did the job more than well. You simply plug it in, and either push the switch on the handle down on one side with your thumb for normal setting (which imo is more than enough) or push the switch the other way for full speed and it sends even old caked dust flying off the components. Also comes with nozzles to increase spread or to focus air being blown into a more concentrated spot which is great for pushing off really hard dust. Normal speed was enough to do the job as full speed made me slightly anxious as to whether it might actually damage components (would encourage anyone to use it with a decent amount of distance away from the component you are cleaning). Brushes are fairly decent too but the main piece of kit is the blower. really worth it. Saves having to constantly buy cans of air

For loosening dust from fan blades, pcb's and heatsinks you can't beat a 1/2" paint brush. I have been using one for years and wouldn't be without one now. For added convenience, it is rechargeable, with a simple USB connection for charging. The battery can last for around 15 – 30 minutes of continuous use. Choose between four uniquely shaped, non-static nozzle attachments for enhanced and precise air direction and controlIn the end you have to make so with what you can get your hands on. You may have to sacrifice a little bit of cleanliness to keep on budget, will that affect your temperatures and OC significantly? That depends on how dusty your case gets. By replacing the need for disposable air spray cans, the CompuCleaner saves you money and dramatically reduces waste and expenditure in the long run AMD something-or-other | Asus prebuilt sadness | 8GB DDR3-1600 | 9TB magnetic storage | Potential fire threat
