About this deal

An unfilled epoxy with independent heat-curing (50 minutes at 80°C) and light-curing (4 seconds at 150 mW/cm2) mechanisms. Very high Tg of 179°C. To use, simply peel the tape and place it on the edge of the first piece of glass. Press it firmly down around the edge of the shape, taking extra care if the glass is sharp or jagged. Ensure that each new section of tape you apply overlaps with the last to avoid any gaps. Copper Tape for Walls This is an instructable on the best conductive glue I have been able to make that uses easy to obtain materials, glues well to most materials, is quite flexible and has a low resistance. Unfortunately for me, it uses a rubber or plastic mixture that I do not know the chemical composition of, so I cannot patent it. An unfilled epoxy ideal for fast-curing applications: 2 minutes at 150°C (or thermode cure in 6 seconds at 180°C). Very high die shear strength of 210 Newtons. Available in smaller quantities at your local hardware store. It's called lubricating graphite and comes in small tubes or bottles. The brand I used successfully is called AGS Extra Fine Graphite, but no doubt there are other brands that will also work.

also includes an advanced 'form in place' gasket process that enables us to efficiently apply conductive gaskets and environmental seals, directly onto enclosures, mouldings, covers etc The lubricating graphite resulted in a resistance equal to the graphite from a chemical supply. However, it is quite a bit more expensive for the amount of glue you get. If you just want to see if it works or only need a small amount of glue, it works fine. This conductive glue is a fraction of the cost of any other conductive glue including "Wire Glue". You can mix it up in large quantities. As you can see, I have barely scratched the surface of what is possible with an inexpensive conductive glue and glued circuits. Perhaps these circuits could be silk-screened on. Maybe one could paint glue on a surface and then use a laser to remove where you don't want it to conduct and etch a circuit that way. Circuits can be constructed on various 2 and 3 dimensional surfaces including paper, cardboard, plastic, fabrics, and glass. As mentioned above, many components such as capacitors, diodes and transistors might also be constructed. Soldering is a relatively straightforward process, but it is important to solder safely and ensure the correct equipment and soldering iron tip is used to create a secure join. Safety is essential so always make sure you are fully prepared for the task before using soldering equipment. Copper Tape for Shielding Does such a thing as conductive glue or some sort of solder that can be applied in liquid/glue form exist?

Nature of the materials being bonded and level of adhesion required. For example, joint design, the strength required, any differential thermal expansion and contraction, thermal conductivity, glass transition temperature, and flexibility requirements.

The Panacol product line of Elecolit ® conductive adhesives are both electrically and thermally conductive adhesives. Elecolit ® conductive adhesives contain metallic filling materials, primarily silver flakes. This creates efficient energy flow and high conductivity. I need to do a small repair on a laptop circuit board & dont want to go near it with a solder iron as its in a tight spot near chips & many tiny connections.Looking Conductive Adhesives, then you have reached the right place. These adhesives are electrically conductive and are formulated from silicone or epoxy resin filled with metallics or conductive carbon fragments. Conductive adhesives are a liquid solution that can be applied to create a thin and flexible layer of highly electrical conductive material to an area or device. Our range of conductive adhesives are sourced from leading brands such as; 3M, Chemtronics, Electrolube, MG Chemicals and RS RPO. How do they work?
