CyberConnect2 did a fantastic job developing the game that showcases the original series’ charm in gorgeous 3D . The way you get instant victories is by pressing :l3: to fly faster and flying directly into these enemies in mid-air. This instantly kills them without having to engage in combat. Do this 50 times. You can still do it after the story in free-roam. Each outfit comes in multiple versions with minor adjustments, like whether Goku has an angel halo or not. This short-haired hero has been the Earth’s last line of defense against the androids and other threats for over ten years – while also taking the time to train Future Trunks.

Take the most boring and bland Open-World Action RPG you can possibly imagine and give it a DBZ coat of paint: Voila, you have created this game. The overworld is empty and lifeless (and looks terrible) and exists solely because Open World games are all the rage now and your character needs a space to fly around in. Encounters with regular enemies are incredibly repetitive, side quests are as basic as it gets, and the game's systems are unnecessarily convoluted. Almost every feature in this game seems to have been put in not because it enriches the gameplay, but because other Open-World titles do something similar.

Several characters from Dragon Ball who don’t play a role in the Dragon Ball Z story appear in supporting roles. Plus, it just makes everything harder to make out in the distance, and messes with the rich colors of the environment, NPCs, and our player character. But since the game’s focus is to re-live the classic original DBZ story, you might be better off with AaronC53’s Faulconer Music Mod.
