This book is a work of art and the beauty inside the book is not just about the visuals. The words are so true and they speak to me on so many levels about different emotions I feel. As a creative director, he’s a champion for innovative design and communication for his clients which have included Nike, Levi’s, Johnny Walker, The Design Indaba, MTN, apple and many more, from Los Angeles, to Amsterdam, to Johannesburg, to Cape Town. His work has spanned everything from monuments to biodegradable posters.That's just how I felt reading this entire book. Being held, loved, seen and cherished. It's rare for me to find poetry that not only heals me but actually makes me feel like I should be kinder to others and heal them as well. This book felt so new, and so fresh and different, somehow, from the other ones, despite still creating a warm and homely feeling in me as I read it, exactly like all the others had. I loved that, that kind of feeling from these books and these poems in particular, I always believe that that is irreplaceable – after all, I haven’t experienced it anywhere else or with any other author. I loved that there was playing with form, structure, even colour of the text. The drawings peppered throughout were lovely, and always in the right places.
