Imperium Legends, just like its partner game Imperium Classics, is an impressive creation. Dan Blum: I’ve only played once so I don’t have a lot to say about the game – it’s definitely not a game you’re going to “get” on the first play. However, it’s certainly interesting and I would like to play again. You see, Acquiring a card always gives you the unrest underneath it (unless it's a region) whereas Breaking Through costs more resources but gives you the card without the associated Unrest. While I wish that there didn’t have to be errata for a game so new out of the gate, I appreciate the hard work of the designers and Osprey Games to keep up with those issues. A játékmenet erősen épít a váltakozó képességek, a pakli tervezés, a pakli építés, a vedd el és a solitaire mechanizmusokra.Minden nép saját paklival rendelkezik, melyeket tovább bővíthet a közös kínálat adta lehetőségekkel és saját fejlesztés lapjaival, melyek ugyancsak egyediek. Ebből következik, hogy minden nép más és más, erősen asszimetrikusak ezért sajátos logikát és sok tanulmányzást igényel egy-egy nép megtanulása. OK, almost – there is literally ONE Region card that is a duplicate in resources and powers… but it has a different name & different art. Ez a legnehezebb pakliépítős játék evör! Különös, mert nem maga a játékszabály nehéz. Úgy fogalmaznék, hogy a "hogyan kell ezt játszani?" az nem egy nehéz kérdés ennél a darabnál. A "hogyan kell jól játszani?" viszont annál nehezebb..... az első játékoknál fogalmad sem lesz, mit is csinálsz! Most pörgesd a paklid inkább? Vagy ez a Glory kártyás izé a jobb? Most használjam a garrison képességét? (Elsőnek nem is fog leesni miért hasznos..) Miért is jó a Prosperity és miért ne használjam non stop mégsem? A játék "megértési küszöbje" szerintem kifejezetten magas! (ALERT: förtelmesen megírt szabály! Nem segít a könnyebb megértésében a játéknak!)

Egyre-másra olvasom, hogy rettenet várakozási ideje van a játékosoknak 3-4 fő esetén, sőt, 4 fővel nem is ajánlják. The solo bot in Imperium Legends is equally if not more effective than Classics. The more I play using the solo mechanics, the more impressed I am with how the bot retains the asymmetry of the different nations. An asymmetric card-based civilization building game for 1-4 players, charting the rise and fall of some of the greatest civilizations from history and legend.
