Battery wise you get a 2200 mAh which offers 14 hours of battery life and Juice is true to their word when testing the speaker I gave it a full charge which took about 2.5 hours and then timed my usage with this speaker and got the 14 hours of battery life they said. When you start eating into the battery life you will be able to see the amount of battery life left indicated by the number of LEDs on.
So overall, would I buy this speaker? I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach. The on-body Juice® control panel allows you to play, pause and alter the volume of your music, so no need to reach for your device! Even if your device isn't Bluetooth ® compatible, you can still enjoy the Boom Pro's superior sound using a 3.5mm AUX cable. I had the same problem pairing my iPhone to the UE Boom speaker despite several factory resets. I then got my iPhone to 'forget' the UE Boom and it then found the speaker and paired perfectly well after that. I think there may have been a problem with the speaker thinking that it was already paired to a different device. I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker.

I have tried hard reboot twice but alas the problem persists. When reviewing this speaker I noticed its very similar design to another outdoor speaker I reviewed a few months ago the JBL Flip 4. Apart from that if you want a speaker for your staycation on a budget price give the JuiceboomPro a try!
On the base of the speaker, it has 4 little raised triangles that act as feet and keep the speaker in place. This speaker also comes with an IPX7 rating making it ideal for the outside as it can be submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes which is ideal if your a little clumsy like me and dropped the speaker in a swimming pool on a recent trip out and after giving it a wipe down the speaker worked perfectly.
