About this deal

Sep 7th 2023 Thermaltake Reveals Matcha Green Lineup: Ceres 300 TG ARGB Mid Tower Chassis & ARGENT E700 Real Leather Gaming Chair (8) In this review will be covering both iterations of the case, an RGB and non-RGB model. Is this large, ATX tower much the same of what we’ve already seen in the full-tower case landscape, or something a bit more special? The answer – a mix of both! The second chamber of the LANCOOL III provides comprehensive cable management to ensure the case is looking its best. Behind two removable cover panels mounted on hinges and magnetically closed, 8x Velcro straps are built into the case. Three large Velcros with multiple channels to organize and separate the front panel cables, motherboard 24-pin and GPU power cables, and fan hubs. Around the motherboard area, 5x smaller Velcro straps are installed for routing cables such as the CPU EPS cable and storage drives. In addition, there is enough room for the mounting of up to four fan/ARGB hubs.

I never understood why case companies add glass to the rear side panel, as Lian Li does here, because who wants to see their bird's nest-like cable mess? However, the Lancool III features small metal doors that cover your cables, similar to the bigger CoolerMaster HAF 700 Evo. If you are a cable managing guru, the doors can be removed and show off the profusion of Lancool’s Velcro cable ties."

And that's exactly what we're on a mission to achieve, so that more people than ever before can build or upgrade their next gaming PC build.

Upright graphics card accessories for O11D EVO New mounting angle for GPU opens room for unrestricted chimney-style configuration. Designed for large GPUs such as 40 series GPUs The side-mounted SSD trays located inside the right PSU shroud panel can support up to 3 x 2.5” SSDs or can be removed to improve airflow. Features a 2.88” IPS LCD screen with a 480x480 resolution Powered by Asetek 8th Gen Solution with a three-phase motor that goes up to 3600 RPM Features screen recording and screen capturing functions to easily display your favorite contents Access unique screen effects and layer-by-layer customization through L-Connect 3 Factory installed ARGB daisy-chainable radiator fans or UNI FAN SL-INF 45-degree… Optionally moving the IO to the bottom will be an asbolute winner with certain crowds - floor PC users want it on the top, while some desk users would salivate over that bottom mount Offering 7 colors and 8 lighting modes (the 8th mode is MB SYNC), the included ARGB controller can be operated via the front IO C and M buttons and can extend its control for 3 additional ARGB devices.

Having seen just about every form of case over the years, we can safely say that Lian Li's Lancool III is impressive in just about every way. While the Lancool III hasn't changed much aesthetically from the Lancool II Mesh, it's a much different story functionally. Having the ability to have three 360mm radiators simultaneously makes having enough cooling capacity for the hottest running of components. If you choose the more traditional air cooling, the Lancool III can support tower coolers up to 185mm (7.3 inches). Supported GPU length is up to 420mm (16.5 inches), so even the most oversized graphics cards should fit without issues.

Fan mounts: 3x 120mm/140mm front, 3x 120mm/140mm roof, 1x 120mm/140mm rear, 3x 120mm power supply cover Other than this, the design doesn’t seem hugely different. Lian Li are still opting to include the hinged tempered glass side panels which are a nice touch, and instead of having RGB out of the box, you get to choose the RGB model for a little bit more money. Despite there not being any drastic changes to the look, the Lancool II was a great case so it’ll be interesting to see how Lian Li has improved upon a proven design. For the LANCOOL III RGB, the I/O panel is equipped with additional RGB control buttons to provide lighting customization to the 3 x 140 mm ARGB pre-installed fans at the front. They seem to be less and less these days as most people don't want to have drives inside the case it seems, but this one is right up there on the price/performance for that niche. Well upon receiving this case my son and I were in awe of the over engineering of this case its totally awesome the space and configuration of how the case is built is awesome I cannot reccomend this case highly enough wish I'd bought one of these ages ago.
