About this deal

Michael Flatley found his first fame starring in Riverdance, but he left the show in late 1995 due to conflicts over creative control. He dreamed of, and put into action, a plan of putting together a dance show capable of playing in arenas and stadiums instead of traditional theatres. [1] [ full citation needed] Later on, Flatley soon began thinking of rhythm patterns and steps for an a cappella number. This number would later become "Planet Ireland", the show's finale. The show took six months to bring from conception to stage. Auditions were held in the SFX City Theatre in Dublin.

Partly for the sheer sexiness of all that leg action, partly because of the music and the fact it still referenced the dances that many of us learnt at a tender age. Gerard Fahy's music is big and Rachael O Connor has some swooping soul-influenced numbers as Erin the Goddess.Dancing was superb especially for those who like Irish dancing. Costumes, music, dance and signing all top class. Too much emphasis on what the performers looked like. Girls over sexualised male lead loved himself. Was expecting far more dancers in the line up. Storyline almost none existent! Singing irrelevant. This is my fourth experience of an Irish dance show and was not disappointed. A few little surprises this time, and all in all a very enjoyable show.

My husband and i had already seen Riverdance two years ago in Dublin and thouhgt that was amazing so we were hoping this show would be as good and i can say we were not disappointed, it was just as good. We would recommend to anyone of any age to go and see the she. Well done. With all the visceral precision and thrills of the original, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games features new staging, new costumes and mesmerising new choreography. It's perfect for people aged five or over and anyone who adores the sheer, raw emotional power of dance. This show was a great blend of light and shade, a mix of toe-tapping, thunder-clapping with soft shoes and butterflies. Such energetic dancing and vibrant sets an enjoyable evening. Flatley's return to performance in Feet of Flames Taipei in 2009 marked the first step to his return in the show.

As the story unfolds, we get some nice female performances from Caroline Gray as heroine Saoirse and Andrea Kwern as bad girl Morrighan the seducer (boo!). The show is due to open on Saturday 10 October 2015 and is scheduled to run through to 3 January at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End. The eponymous number of the show ("Lord of the Dance") begins with a two pairs of males accompanying a pair of females in an introductory dance before the eponymous character dances to the shows' upbeat theme. The number ends with the title character being joined by his troupe. Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games has announced the leading cast members for its West End run at the Playhouse Theatre. The show exceeded expectations. Loved it real feel good show. Only fault was it finished could have watched forever. All cast are amazing
