According to the specs, if used in Smart mode, the Ultra V1’s built-in battery is sufficient for up to 82 minutes of vacuuming and mopping, and that’s damn good in my book. However, in steam mode it’s only about 15 minutes which I consider more than enough for any areas that need a very deep clean. The Mach V1 Ultra is a fantastic all-in-one solution for vacuuming, mopping, and steam cleaning your hard floors. While these scores are not bad, they could be better. They could certainly better utilize the powerful suction that this device is able to generate if there were a different brushroll for carpets instead of the only one provided, which feels solely intended for hard surfaces. Runtime depends entirely on which mode you use. With a fully charged battery, you can use the V1 Ultra for up to 82 minutes in suction-only mode or Smart mode. With the V1 Ultra, I had a difficult time just connecting to the Eufy Clean app, and once connected, I found only a handful of maintenance tips and how-to videos. I assumed I would be able to do things like turn JetBlade drying on and off, and that it might be especially helpful for those who have a hard time using the small LCD screen. But no dice.

As far as I’m aware, there are no cord-free steam cleaners on the market so the MACH V1 Ultra can be considered the first of its kind. In fact, the steam function is what elevates this product to a whole new category of floor cleaner. Granted, you only get around 15 minutes of steam time out of the battery so if you’re an avid steamer who insists on every floor surface being fully sanitised to within an inch of its life, this might not be the model for you. But if you need a steam cleaner to just do the kitchen, utility room or bathroom, or deal with the odd obstreperous stain, it’s a brilliant feature that you will use a lot and really come to appreciate.I wanted a nice wet/dry mop & vacuum in one and knew it wasn’t going to be cheap. I went with this primarily because of the Ozone O3 feature. I wanted less chemicals and yet effective removing germs and bacteria. Because my dog likes drop his food onto the floor and eat it, I want it to be nontoxic and safe for him to do so. Additionally, my dog likes to roll on the floor and then on couch and bed and then it gets onto me, again don’t want any of those germs and bacteria.
