About this deal

While we definitely felt that our skin was cleaner after using this brush than it would’ve been with a standard hand-cleanse, we were still left with a bit of makeup residue after passing over the skin with this brush four times. Of course, this could’ve been due to the waterproof nature of the makeup that we were wearing. But overall, this soft and stimulating brush feels like a simple luxury that would upgrade any skincare routine. One of the nifty features that facial brushes can offer is sonic vibration, which creates a relaxing kind of buzzing sensation on the skin. While this massage function can feel really nice on the skin, it’s not a necessary component of skin cleansing. Electric facial cleansing brushes require batteries or charging cables, so if you don’t want to deal with either of those things, you might prefer a standard manual cleansing brush that relies on your own handheld pressure and movement. Bristle cleansing brush on one side, massage ridges on the other to both clean and massage the face while helping relieve muscle tension I believe good brushes are imperative to good make-up and, in turn, that good- looking brush sets are imperative to a good morning routine. And so does lesser-known (but high-performing) make-up brush company Blank Canvas.

True Glow Glam Vibrating Makeup Brush Set - Conair

While the brush does exactly what it says I cant help but feel it's slightly overpriced for being a makeup brush. Yes with liquid foundation I feel like it gives better results than my typical Morphe M439 brush however as I said previously I think the 'Buff UP' Brush head would be a much better contender, I also think this brush head would work faster at blending in foundation. Join 330,063 entrepreneurs, innovators and CEOs who rely on our weekly trend report to stay ahead of the crowd. Though it is a well-designed brush in its own right, the BlendUp’s added vibrating mode helps your foundation blend and blur pores to practical invisibility. The basic principle behind the magic (okay, science) of facial cleansing brushes' skin-cleaning ability is the infamous process of exfoliation. According to Dr. Rachel Cayce, board-certified dermatologist and Physicians Coalition member, it’s entirely normal for skin to accumulate a surface layer of dead skin cells. But by gently removing them with an exfoliating facial cleansing brush, “you can get an improved texture and ‘brightness’ to your skin, similar to dermabrasion,” Dr. Cayce tells PEOPLE.But we don’t stop there: We also regularly re-review the categories in which we’ve awarded the PEOPLE Tested seal of approval — because the best product of today might not be the best of tomorrow. And by the way, companies can never buy our recommendation: Their products must earn it, fair and square. Whether you’re looking to buy a make-up artist-worthy collection or a foundation brush that will do all the hard work for you, we’ve put the industry’s best-selling beauty tools to the test to find the top of the shops. The fresh-face skin vibes are immaculate with this palm-sized cleansing brush in hand. The Buttah Vibe Brush performed well in all our tests, leaving our skin feeling silky-smooth with an impressive level of exfoliation sans irritation. It fits nicely in hand and even has a larger surface area than most of the other cleansing devices we tested. Plus, the brush’s anti-microbial silicone bristles helped to create a foamier lather than we’d be able to achieve with just our hands and soap alone.

Makeup Brush and Vibrator – Mexten Secret Makeup Brush and Vibrator – Mexten

We do our best to source the most unique and innovative products we can find, and to make sure that you, our customer, always has the best possible experience when shopping with us. Highlighter brushes - Illamasqua Beyond Powder in OMG Q&A with Spice Girls make-up artist, Karin Darnell From left to right, we have the 104 Buffer (blending everything from cream to powder), the 109 Luxe Face Paint (a dense dream for contouring), the 126 Luxe Cheek Finish (which doubles up as a fluffy setting powder brush), the 226 Smudger (for blending eyeshadow at the lash line), the 228 Luxe Crease (for the crease, naturally), the 234 Luxe Smoky Shader (my favourite for all over lid colour), the 317 Wing Liner (my personal favourite as the brush is thinner than most of its variety and makes kitten eyes foolproof), and the 322 Brow Line (for natural-looking hair strokes using cream and powder eyebrow products). Their MagniMarble make-up brush set might just be the first thing that makes me smile in the morning. Every multi-use brush in this ten-piece collection has a magnetic base which snaps to its pole-opposed frame after use for display. When we craved a deeper clean than our hands alone could provide, we appreciated the Buttah brush’s silicone bristles and wide surface area. Over six months of further testing, we did start to feel that perhaps the brush surface area is a bit too large for a precise cleansing, but that aside, it continued to perform well.

The brush fit nicely in the palm of our hand and was lightweight and easy to maneuver around the face. You can choose from 5 different vibration speeds that range from “light” to “strong.” When buying partner items like this one, your contract of sale will be with our Range Plus Partner instead of us.

Conair Vibrating Makeup Blender for Blending True Glow by Conair Vibrating Makeup Blender for Blending

One of the best parts of this cleansing brush is its compact countertop stand, which is small enough on even the most crowded of vanities. The brush handle itself fits well in hand and is easy to maneuver around the face to reach every nook and cranny. Who better to speak to than make-up artist of make-up artists, Karin Darnell, for the low-down on make-up brushes? Karin was make-up artist to the Spice Girls for the duration of their record-breaking careers (Spiced and individually) and has long-standing working relationships with the likes of Jessie J, Cheryl and Rihanna (Karin has worked on over twelve videos and two movies for Riri alone). In terms of applying powder and contour, however I am in love! The sonic brush has swayed me, no brush I have ever tried blends bronzer and contour as flawlessly as this does! I don't know what it is but it just makes my contour and bronzer look super smooth and natural even though my face is contoured to the hills... And its the same for setting powder, it fills in my pores effortlessly and really buffs product in to give my skin a really smooth appearance. Powering through layers of makeup, sunscreen, and skincare, this vibrating sonic brush washed away the competition and earned its crown as the best facial cleansing brush of 2023. It aced all of our tests and left our skin feeling refreshed, soft, and, most of all, clean. You can choose between five different vibration speeds, plus an extra “heated” mode that warms the brush head to help loosen buildup to thoroughly release the gunk of the day while you cleanse. The B. Blending Brush is a similarly versatile favourite. Its flat, short head is incredibly dense and blends everything - cream foundation, heavy powders, liquid bronzer, etc - with ease. I’ve regularly used it to place and blend out a natural contour line in a rush.

The ‘Retractable’ is identical to the brand’s trademarked Handi Brush - a cult beauty favourite in its own right - only portable. The mostly-flat brushes are a DIY dream; the animal-friendly CosmeFibre bristles offer superior blending (genuinely requiring next to no product for flawless application) and the proprietary metal alloy handles (similar to what is used in the manufacture of luxury car engines) are a pleasure to paddle with.
