We were honestly surprised by the sound quality and loudness of this little speaker. We haven’t expected such an impressive performance from a small and portable Bluetooth speaker. Don’t get this wrong – this is still a small speaker but compared to other competitors of the same size (even those made by reputable companies like Bose and JBL), Angle 3 Ultra definitely sounds much better. Since all the drivers are on the front side, the speaker can’t deliver 360-sound but the nice thing is that you can place the speaker vertically or horizontally. Compared to JBL Clip 3, Oontz Angle 3’s battery life is hands down a better choice. You don’t have the same durability with Oontz as you do the Clip 3 or even the Clip 2. But OontZ wasn’t intended to be a wearable speaker. The crystal clear sound at max volume has virtually no distortion. On the flip side, when the volume is down low, the bass is almost non-existent, and the treble sounds high pitched. This bargain speaker can handle a full day of play at the beach or a long day’s work at your computer. And still, have enough juice for your evening campfire.
