AD] As Stay Active Ambassadors, the boys have been testing out another one of @CharacterToys products this month. Owleez is an interactive baby owl that you have to teach how to fly. It comes in two colours: Pink and White and is suitable for children aged 6+.

The bottom of the nest contains the USB cable that you need to pull out and connect to either a laptop or plug into a USB compatible plug. To charge Owleez, you simply make sure she is sitting in her nest. When she is charging her eyes will be red, they then glow green to let you know when she is ready to play. I think as its so light it feels a little expensive but I guess it needs to be quite light to fly. When it’s flying, sometimes/very rarely it may crash while landing, but don’t worry it’s made up of strong material. While landing you can take it into your hands or can be landed on any surface. If the wings are still in flight then they can be closed when you touch the wings and the head will be closed automatically, never push the head down. Once it’s fully charged, it can fly 45 times.

The Jump-It Wipeout is a musical jump challenge where you try to beat the rotating soft foam jump bar. The aim is to either jump until the time is up or until you Wipeout! It can be used both indoors and outdoors, you just need a big enough indoor area for them to use while jumping. Although we’ve had very mild weather for October, the game is a good way to keep them busy active when it’s wet and miserable outside. I have to admit the whole family’s reaction to our Owleez pink first flight was pretty hilarious as we have never seen anything quite like it, particularly as she zoomed around the room! We all proper howled with laughter as watching it whizz across the room before crashing down to the floor with a bump was really funny to watch. Owls are adorable aren’t they? Think Harry Potter and Owls definitely come to mind. My work mate is a little Owl obsessed and I remember going around Birmingham and searching for them one summer when the Owls came to town.I have to say Spinmaster have done it again with this Owleez flying Owl toy. This Owleez Interactive pet is absolutely brilliant and such good fun. I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw pictures of it but after reviewing the Luvabella and Luvabeua Interactive Doll and Hatchimal Hatchibabies, I knew we we would be impressed. It’s almost like a cross between an Owl and a helicopter. This Owleez toy review will give you an idea if will be the perfect gift for your little one this Christmas. Blue eyes – If his eyes turn blue, Owleez is cold, and he will make little shivery sounds too. To warm him up, children can press their hand against his forehead. Other interactive elements include making him burp, fall asleep and sing, with Owleez really getting into his happy little song if he is feeling particularly chirpy. Teaching our Owleez Toy how to fly! You do need quite a lot of free space for the Owleez flying baby owl to fly, and in some modern family homes that might be easier said than done.
