I love that even though she is hooking up with Colt she still is confident enough to know what she wants and how she wants it. She finds herself at the mercy of his father’s business partner George who has a proposition for Emilee. If she agrees to his proposal, he is ready to pay for his mother’s care. She had always loved reading and she felt that there was no better tie to write her own novel. After she published her debut in 2013, there was no stopping her and she could not be happier. Being in both Colts and Raylee's heads you see both perspectives! I didn't believe Colt could be redeemed but that ending 😳 What I love about the OTT J/P trope is that the guy can’t stand to have anyone near his woman. No one can touch her except for him. She is HIS and his alone. Someone is going to have to explain to me how Colt was J/P when the prologue starts with him sharing Raylee with his two other friends, videotaping the whole thing and then posting it on the internet for the whole world to see! It made no sense! Like… you’re so jealous and possessive, but you’re going to allow your two BEST FRIENDS to fuxx your girl?! You’re going to allow the whole world to see her naked?! 🤨🧐 I always forget my kink is when the hero calls the heroine princess. 🥺 Also did not know this was a story set in the Lords universe… love it!! I need more stories in this world. I LOVE THIS! 😭😭😭 Sorry not sorry for repeating myself. 😇 A coincidence that I read this after Lily White’s The Five. Both *amazing* books featuring the slut heroine. While The Five had more of an exploration in femme fatale mystique, this was celebrating your inner slut. This book is 100% NOT for everyone. This book is a *very* dark romance and contains extreme trigger warnings which may be sensitive to some readers so when I say to read the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book if you are sensitive to any sort of heavy topic, I truly and deeply recommend it. I went into this book blind (without reading trigger warnings or reading what the book was about) because I love surprises and I do not have any problems reading any sort of topics but this may not be the case for everyone. Shantel Tessier is a Wall Street Journal and the USA Today bestselling author that is best known for her “Undescribable” series of novels.

I read the TW and didn’t see this listed as a trigger, and I think it should have been because this level of humiliation and degradation isn’t for everyone. While I don’t mind it in small doses, this was just WAAAAAYYYY too much for me.
