About this deal

Part of the problem is that around the world the Chinese house churches are usually presented in all their glory, as great men and women of God who live in perfect harmony. It is thought that some leaders have suffered in prison for so long that they are practically sinless! The reality is a little more down-to-earth. It has been said "The Chinese Church has a New Testament kind of Christianity." I agree! But in the New Testament we read not only of miracles and revival, but also of personal conflict, jealousy, opposition, and "false brothers." A glance at the messages the Risen Christ gave to the seven churches in the early chapters of Revelation will soon reveal the early Christians were just like us - with many weaknesses and failings. There are countless allegations circulating against Brother Yun, but I am still waiting to meet a single person who has been wronged by him in any way. The people on earth are like the man who was made from the dust of the earth. The people in heaven are like the man who came from heaven.

Brother Yun - Wikipedia

Brother Yun is one of China’s house church leaders. Instead of focusing on the many miracles or experiences of suffering, however, Yun prefers to focus on the character and beauty of Jesus. Interspersed with his personal account are contributions from his wife, Deling, made mostly during her husband's frequent periods of imprisonment. You will remember where you were the first time you read this life story. It's a watershed book that will turn the reader to prayer and praise.” The writing style is quite unique and simplistic and it's obvious at once that Yun has a heart for the Lord. His personality is obvious throughout and centers on being hopeful and joyful in dire circumstances. yun's story (which is completely true) shows what surrendering our lives to Christ looks like. it's a clear picture of what living selflessly looks like, what being willing to go where your sent by God looks like and what trusting Him in unbearable circumstances looks like.According to the Naassenes, the Protanthropos is the first element; the fundamental being before its differentiation into individuals. "The Son of Man" is the same being after it has been individualized into existing things and thus sunk into matter. [13] Brother Yun is a millionaire, living like a king in the West." The truth is that Yun and his family live a modest life in Germany. A mission called AVC for years has provided housing for Yun and his family, and taken care of them. German Pastor Waldemar Sardaczuk shed light on Yun's lifestyle earlier this year: "I can shed some light on the daily life of Brother Yun and his family... Neither he nor any of his family members drive or own a car. They are totally focused on ministering for the Lord, and have little concern for material things. His manner of life, his conduct, and his family are in accordance with the Bible. We are deeply impressed and also appreciate brother Yun's reaction to all the lies, slanders and accusations told about him... He has always endeavored to help the persecuted Christians in his country without any desire for personal gain or glory."

Heavenly Man, Shares His Story FULL INTERVIEW: Brother Yun, Heavenly Man, Shares His Story

Samuel Lamb (Lin Xiangao) has stated that Brother Yun falsely claimed to have fasted without food and water for nearly twice as long as Jesus, and falsely claiming to represent 58 million house-church Christians, and raising large sums of money in many countries. He also insists that Brother Yun in no way represents the house-churches in China, [11] although Lamb admits he has never met Brother Yun or read his autobiography. [4]

Brother Yun was never a major house church leader in China." This is entirely true! Yun was not one of the major national house church network leaders (known as the 'Lao Da' in China), and has never claimed to be. Nor does his book suggest that he was. Yun was an evangelist who was renowned for his God-given ability to lead many people to Christ, as his book clearly portrays. He also was involved with leading some local training centers and meetings, but was never considered one of the big leaders in China. He has been a servant to God's people, as evidenced by his efforts to bring unity between the different church leaders, and has never put himself forward as anything else. Andrew of Columbus, Ohio: "From the very first chapter, I was blown away! Next to the Bible, it has been the most convicting and moving book I've ever read. I realize more how good it is to know Jesus and how sovereign He is over the world and in our lives. The book's convicted me to desire to live a more sacrificial life for God, given me more of a heart for the nations and scripture, and renewed in me my sense of need for God's Spirit and presence. I highly recommend this book." Strong's 5108: (including the other inflections); from toi and houtos; truly this, i.e. Of this sort (to denote character or individuality). Brother Yun's book tells both of great persecution, and a surprising series of miracles of deliverance very similar (though often even more 'extreme') to those found in the Bible. Despite a life of poverty in China, he since has spoken to thousands internationally with the Gospel message. Seen as a rebel among some Chinese for not joining the government-controlled Christian organization, he was imprisoned and tortured by the government authorities. His book reports that he became a highly wanted man across several provinces. [2] He was finally arrested and sentenced to many years in prison. However, Brother Yun continued his ministry while in prison, with more claims of miraculous results. As a result, many prisoners and even prison officials are reported to have become born-again Christians. [3] While he gained increasing favor from some officials, he also became a target of increased persecution by others. He was repeatedly beaten and became severely malnourished. [2] While in prison, Brother Yun writes about undertaking a total fast without food or water for 74 days. [4]

The Heavenly Man: The Remarkable True Story Of Chinese

God give me one son and many brothers". - chapter 12 of "The Heavenly man" (Simplifed Chinese) from Qzone. Thou hast formed me behind and before' ( Psalms 139:5) is to be explained 'before the first and after the last day of Creation.' For it is said, 'And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters,' meaning the spirit of the Messiah ["the spirit of Adam" in the parallel passage, Midr. Teh. to cxxxix. 5; both readings are essentially the same], of whom it is said ( Isaiah 11:2), 'And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.' [5] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. Unfortunately, and tragically, 'friendly fire' is alive and well among God's people today. Christians like Brother Yun would consider it a great honor to be shot dead by a Muslim or speared by a tribesman while they are preaching the gospel in some far-flung corner of the earth. But to come under fire from fellow Christians, who are meant to be fighting on your side, is a miserable and terrible thing to have to cope with. Firstly, let me say that it is a good thing for the Body of Christ to be wary of charlatans, deceivers, and heretics. In fact, the Bible exhorts us to do so, and such perversions are one of the signs that we live in the end times (see Matt. 24:4-5 for example). If Brother Yun was guilty of even a fraction of the terrible things being said about him, then it would be a duty to warn others about him. However, the Bible also clearly lays out the way people should go about discovering if a person is in error or a danger to others. If these principles are not adhered to, then all someone has to do to destroy another's reputation is to make up some lies and pass them on. There are usually enough gossipers around to ensure such lies will get wide circulation. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:49 - Compare Bible Verse Translations

Such as is the earthly, such also are the earthly: and such as is the heavenly, such also are they that are heavenly. The first to use the expression "original man," or "heavenly man," was Philo, in whose view the γενικός, or οὐράνιος ἄνθρωπος, "as being born in the image of God, has no participation in any corruptible or earthlike essence; whereas the earthly man is made of loose material, called a lump of clay." [1] The heavenly man, as the perfect image of the Logos, is neither man nor woman, but an incorporeal intelligence purely an idea; while the earthly man, who was created by God later, is perceptible to the senses and partakes of earthly qualities. [2] Philo is evidently combining philosophy and Midrash, Plato and the rabbis. [ citation needed] There was a deeper process going on for me. How much do I believe? The story relates the occurrence of miracles in the life of Yun – almost like a modern day Acts of the Apostles. Do I believe these? Or do I root around for rational explanations? In places where practicing your faith means life or death, doesn’t it make sense that the astonishing can occur? When this man shares his excruciating tales of physical and emotional desolation, where do I see myself in my commitment, or better, in my comfort? Miracles don’t come cheap and the most wondrous miracle is a life transformed. How far am I willing to let the Spirit take me?I don't expect to write anything else on this matter, as I feel I have pretty much said all that needs to be said. People are free to either accept it or not. The book Living Water was released in 2008 and, as with his previous book, The Heavenly Man, it is also co-written and translated by Paul Hattaway. It is published by Zondervan Publications. [10] It has been said, “It is not great men who change the world, but weak men in the hands of a great God.” Those who know Brother Yun can vouch that he is a humble servant of God who does not want any part of his life to bring glory to himself or man.” Closely related to the Philonic doctrine of the heavenly Adam is the Adam Ḳadmon (called also Adam 'Ilaya, the "high man," the "heavenly man") of the Zohar, whose conception of the original man can be deduced from the following passages: "The form of man is the image of everything that is above [in heaven] and below [upon earth]; therefore did the Holy Ancient [God] select it for His own form." [7] Released in early 2002, the book is co-written and translated by Paul Hattaway and published by Monarch Publications.
