About this deal

This book has the potential to profoundly transform your world view. Using high-speed photography, Dr. Masaru Emoto discovered that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward them. He found that water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors. The implications of this research create a new awareness of how we can positively impact the earth and our personal health. That obviously made me think of Islam, how we always say بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the name of Allah the most Merciful before we eat or drink or have sex, to bliss whatever enters our bodies, and if we eat something bad or we feel fear we say أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. The power of the spoken words is immense. The epilogue was the kill shot to my second star. The fact that he mentioned that the liver filters the water we drink... (insert head shaking here). Book Genre: Environment, Health, Metaphysics, Nature, New Age, Nonfiction, Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Self Help, Spirituality After reading this book I find it no accident or coincidence that Jesus Christ refers to himself as "living water".

Many of us can feel that there really is magic in our world. Personal experience and perception are validating enough. If tests confirm some metaphysical concepts, I am glad. The sentience of plants is old news. It was no leap to consider water alive, thus I did not imagine giving “ The Hidden Messages In Water”, 1999, three stars. I own the second book and hope Masaru Emoto’s wild extrapolations simmered down. This book abounds in photographs of vibrant or dull crystals and their stimuli. A few examples amply drive this evidence home. I loved the experiment of a large group of people who prayed beside a lake. The lake got cleaner in a brief length of time! The JSESSIONID cookie is used by New Relic to store a session identifier so that New Relic can monitor session counts for an application. His work has us question, if water is affected by the words, intentions, and energies, what about human beings, who are made of mostly water? If we transform the water and thoughts we are made of, what else is possible? The words of love and gratitude form the most beautiful crystals. It was also noticed that the gratitude is more powerful than love. Conclusion – give twice the amount of gratitude as love. That’s the balance you should strive for. I do think Mr. Emoto missed the boat slightly when he said love is not the greatest power, but gratitude is. While I know that gratitude is very powerful and very necessary, especially our gratitude to God. I believe that the pure powerful love of Jesus Christ is the greatest force and power in the Universe. If not for His love and the love of our Father in Heaven there would have been no purpose in creation or life. Excellent experiment with photography. Dr. Emoto shows us how delicate words are. Say, “I am sorry”, “I love you”, “I care”, “You are beautiful” and tell people how much they matter to you.

If Masaru Emoto sounds familiar, it's because he spoke about his findings on water crystals in the documentary "What the Bleep Do We Know?".Choose your words wisely, fill your body, mind, heart, spirit with goodness and be wary of those that speak to you in demeaning fashions. Masaru Emoto, like many other authors of this genre, preaches love, gratitude and respect for others and the environment around us, and shows us that even the most basic of substances has many secrets to tell and messages to bring.

Ok, this book was just..eh. I had seen many of the water crystal photos before, although seeing them again is never a bad thing. It was the poor writing that got me with this book - I don't know if subtle nuances got lost in the translation to English, but it appeared to be geared towards middle school students, and was simple to the point of almost being insulting to the average reader. It is a fascinating read how the molecules of water are affected by our thoughts, words and feelings. Positive words create beautiful crystals. Negative words show distorted images. This cookie, set by YouTube, registers a unique ID to store data on what videos from YouTube the user has seen. I believe that it contains Truth. We are largely made up water (chemically speaking) and I believe that our thoughts help shape who we are, which in turn, can influence those around us, for good or bad.

Nothing in the books makes me trust his experiments, especially when he says they cannot copy the same conditions for the experiments. Fail. Do the unbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, and We split them apart? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe? (30) Surah al-Anbiya Masaru Emoto did many experiments on how the water would respond to sound, music, and words. When the music is well composed the formation is beautiful and unique, when the words are kind the crystals are so beautiful, when we say good words water becomes healing. On the other hand, from reading comments here, it's apparent that some people went into the book actively looking for any excuse to disprove anything and everything contained within. Basically a, "What!?! If I don't understand it, or it challenges my viewpoint of the world then it can't possibly exist!" kind of attitude. What a bitter irony that this is precisely the attitude science fought to escape during early clashes with the church.
