Story: A boy is mourning the loss of his dog when he finds a photograph of another boy with his snowman. Using the image as inspiration, he builds another snowman and also a snow dog. The art is very faithful to the original though this book has far more words than the original (I would have liked to see fewer words, actually, and to let the art speak more).Later that night, something magical happens, taking Billy on the most wonderful Christmas adventure.
