About this deal

If anyone wishes to try Smarty first to see what the three service is like in their area, feel free to use my referral link so you get a free second month. we can’t watch a film on Netflix or Prime without constant buffering,so dissapointed, sadly on a 2 year contract. All three devices also have two Ethernet ports, as well as antenna ports, and a fairly plain, mostly white design.

The rest of the data tells you chat cell are facing which direction, so you have a cell (No. 2) facing NE (49 degrees) with on Band 3 (1800MHz) with 20MHz of bandwidth available and you also have 5MHz on Band 20, although none facing directly north. On a 4x4 MIMO connection 64QAM downlink modulation to the B20 you could achieve a maximum speed of 300Mb/s down and 50Mb/s up (16QAM)If a Service Provider is aware on a issue, I guarantee it’s affecting a significant number of people – it wouldn’t be on their radar otherwise. benefits from lower latency than 4G, which should in time make for a fixed broadband-like responsive online experience. Based on the available data, you can currently expect a ping of around 20-35ms, which falls in between a decent home broadband connection (10–20ms) and a 4G broadband connection (around 35-50ms). EE is meant to offer the best data speeds where I live as I can see the mast. But will get a payg sim and try it on my mobile. I assume mobiles will give better speed than I can expect from a 4g router so it would be the absolute best case on mobile?

The main benefit, apart from price by not having to invest in a separate 5G antenna is the fact that the cable between the 5G router installed outdoors and the T3000 WiFi hotspot installed indoors is that they are connected with an Ethernet cable which can have a maximum cable length of 100m and is just a single cable. Installing an outdoor 5G antenna a long distance sway from an indoor 5G router using longer than 5 or 10m of antenna cable can mean a big reduction in signal quality and service due to the signal loss along the length of the antenna cables. Sadly, there’s currently no indication of when the fix will be ready, but hopefully it won’t take too long. In the meantime, we suspect that Three may have suspended firmware updates for the router, at least until the fixed firmware is ready to be pushed out (one person on older firmware said there doesn’t seem to be a newer version available to them). Despite being made by Zyxel, the only big brand name you’ll see on the device itself is Three’s, but that’s not uncommon, with networks often rebranding hardware from other companies. Mine has been the same since weds. Spoken to the tech people everyday who keep assuring me it will be fixed soon. I keep thinking the same as you though, if the hub isn’t receiving a signal how can they remove the recent update?? I’ve even said it to the tech people but they just keep saying it’ll be sorted soon. Asked for a new hub but they tell me that wont fix the problem. I’m giving them until the morning then ringing to cancel. Got to be an improvement on the appallingly underpowered B535-232 they previously shipped to 4G customers. Guess you need to take out a 5G contract with them to get the router though? The Vodafone GigaCube 5Gappears to bea rebranded ZTE MC888 Ultra router, which theoretically offers top speeds of 3.8Gbps, though as with other options your real world speeds will be a lot lower. These were tests of smartphones, but similar results would likely be found with 5G home broadband routers. You can read more about each network’s 5G speeds in our ‘how fast is 5G?’ guide. Plans Are they supplying new routers to existing customers or do we need to request them? Still using the little B311 they supplied years ago to me… it works but it needs rebooted a bit too often imo.

Best I have achieved is 207Mb/s on a 4G+ CA connection, but theoretically you can get upwards of that, it all depends on the number of bands and their bandwidth that you an aggregate, and the quality of the signal. I use Telenor. With all included, inclusive unlimited data where I pay 299kr/month and I have the free data SIM included. It is via my company I get it like this. The cheapest private alternative is as you say Telenor 399kr + 89kr for the data card but you have a contract for 24 months then.Your choice of portable 5G routers is extremely limited at the time of writing. But there are a couple of interesting options if you want to be more flexible or mobile with your 5G broadband connectivity. 5GWiFi hours with non customer support put down regular internet drops to mast work !!! ( the 5G signal is fine)
