About this deal

Red Curry Paste& Curry Powder - I love to use a combination of curry paste and curry powder to really layer in the flavors. Firstly, add the two tablespoons of oil to a large frying pan and heat on medium-high. When the oil is hot (it usually takes around two minutes to heat up on my stovetop but this will vary), add the chopped onions.

Meanwhile, make the cilantro pesto. Add the roasted cashews to a food processor and blitz until in small pieces. Add the cilantro, garlic, pepper, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, and salt. Blend until a paste forms, scraping down the sides as you go along. The filling will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days and is suitable for freezing. What can you serve with it? While I’m sure you can see that this is not a traditional curry dish or a traditional ramen dish, I still want to highlight where the inspiration for this dish came from! Calum Harris is here to show you how you can feed yourself and your loved ones hearty, healthy and delicious vegan fare in under twenty minutes - including the time you spend chatting while you cook. Ramen has a complex history (as most delicious foods do!) and according to this First We Feast article, it evolved “from the working man's fuel to international icon of Japanese culture”. Heat oil in a large enameled cast iron pot over medium heat and cook carrots, peas and mushrooms for a few minutes. It’s become a staple in our household, and I hope it does in yours too. Super easy weeknight pasta dish

If you'll be using other noodles, be sure to pay close attention to their cook time. If your noodles take 10 minutes to cook when boiled, they'll likely take 15-20 minutes to simmer in this recipe so just keep that in mind. The perfect recipe to satisfy those comfort food cravings whilst you #stayathome. This vegan banana cake is so simple and delicious – it’s light, fluffy, moist and the best part is it takes just 20 minutes! It’s perfect for when you’re hunting for that sweet hit but you can’t be bothered to take ages working out a complex recipe. Roasted cashews: The cilantro “pesto” (air quotes because it’s loosely inspired by pesto) features roasted cashews instead of raw cashews to add extra flavor. I used roasted cashews to save time, but you could easily use raw cashews and toast them yourself. I love the Simply Nature brand at ALDI (they sell both raw and roasted cashews). Other meatless options: use your favourite vegan meat crumbles like gardein, etc... or fry up ½ lb of sliced mushrooms or even crumbled tofu ( I would fry tofu separately then add in after cabbage. Note- I have not tried any of these with this recipe. Lime Juice - A splash of lime juice at the end is really going to make all the flavors of the curry ramen pop. Don't skip it!It's healthy comfort food at its finest. Is there anything more comforting than a bowl of warm broth and noodles? I think not! And the best part is that this dish is made with wholesome ingredients so you can indulge in its cozy deliciousness but know that it will still fill you up and fuel you through your day!
