About this deal

Burrito-style tongue causes unnecessary bulk or bunching up of materials especially on the top of the foot which might cause some comfort issues The quality of the leather on the forefoot is rare for such a takedown boot; could have extended a bit more to the midfoot to match the Tiempo academy When we say the purest first touch, we mean it. The adidas Copa Sense takes ball feel to the next level, using soft, cushioning leather to improve your control in every respect. Soft Ground (SG) soleplates are specifically designed for use on wet and soft to very soft natural grass pitches that may also be muddy and/or waterlogged. Used worldwide, mainly during winter months, boots made for soft ground have removable, replaceable screw-in studs that can be plastic, entirely metal, or metal-tipped and typically come in a six-stud configuration – four at the forefoot, two slightly longer at the heel. Some people live and die by the old ways. Case in point, vinyl records. Those who love vinyl swear by them and claim that MP3s can never beat the nice warm sound that emanates from the age old tech. It’s an experience that only the enlightened can appreciate, they say.

adidas do have Kid-specific makes for the Copa 20.3 available in FG-specific soleplate. Does the .3 have other soleplate versions for muddy pitches, 3G or Turf? The firm ground (FG) studs don’t pose too much of a problem for me on artificial ground (AG) and receives our seal of approval for dual FG/AG purposes. There is no stud pressure on AG and it provides sufficient traction without digging too deep into the ground. A very good boot built for Gen Z The 3-Stripes’ pioneering outlook has seen them remain at the forefront of boot design ever since founder Adi Dassler first started making footwear in the 1920s.I first thought that the entire boot was covered in a thin layer of leather but I had come to find out that only the forefoot is made from leather. Look closely at the photo above and you’ll notice a different texture and grain between the forefoot and the midfoot.

Leather is the footballing boot equivalent of vinyl – old tech that may have lost its popularity but still harnesses a cult-like fan base that swears by its eternal qualities. Like its musical counterpart, it’s slowly losing its appeal on a younger generation due to the influx of new synthetic boots and flashier options.Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.

adidas named the boot “Sense” in a bid to “to deliver an enhanced feel andoptimum touch for the wearer”. On paper, that is what all leather boots strive to do as they all provide an elegant and cushioned touch on the ball. adidas’ approach to this is somewhat different and can be seen in these 3 features – TOUCHPODS, SENSEPODS and SOFTSTUDS. Objectively, the adidas Copa Sense .1 is an excellent boot. This one of the best fitting boots available in the market, let alone among the adidas stable. It’s a very elegantly designed football boot and is an improvement, aesthetically. The Copa Sense.3 replicates the Fusionskin feel with its synthetic leather forefoot and a textile collar and midfoot This is the world we live in now where technology reigns supreme. And the adidas Copa Sense .1 is a technologically sound boot. It may not bring about nostalgia but it surely delivers for the modern age.

Feel the game and elevate your play wearing adidas Copa Sense .3 MG football boots in Red/White/Solar Red, featuring an all-new design with a soft synthetic and leather upper for an anatomical fit and the purest first touch. The adidas Copa + model comes up a little short, so we would recommend going up at least half a size or potentially a full size. The Copa doesn’t replace the classics, it’s simply a modern alternative, using advanced engineering techniques to give you the ultimate touch and feel on the ball while maintaining the trademark comfort of the series. To make leather sexy again to a new generation, it says a lot that adidas has created a boot that mimics leather but is primarily still a synthetic construction. If you’re a leather purist, this isn’t a boot for you though the writing has been on the wall for some time for leather. I hope this is a good introduction to leather for Gen Z and may perhaps spark a newfound demand for leather, allowing adidas to develop full leather boots in the future outside of their heritage Copa Mundial line. First up, let’s be clear: this is the adidas Copa, the most modern, technologically advanced boot in the Copa range, as opposed to the more traditional Copa Mundial and Copa Gloro. The 20.3 is quite comfortable on feet. Pressure point from the bunching up of the burrito tongue can be alleviated with the right size. What size of the Copa 20.3 should I choose?Soleplate construction mirrors the Exoframe structure and semi-conical studs; uses a single layer of TPU The 20.3 uses a calfskin leather instead of the more premium K-leather. Also, the leather is restricted to the forefoot as synthetic material dominate the midfoot. The 20.3 does not have knit. How does the 20.3 feel on feet? Boots with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural, short-grass surfaces that are firm underfoot but may be slightly wet. Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort, and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot. FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn. FG boots are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction. Using FG boots on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
