About this deal

I think it would be perfect if you could read these books one after the other in succession. I didn't have the time for that, I have too many other books for that. But I did appreciate that the authors give enough information along the way to jog your memory.

As he grows into a young man, falling in love and taking classes at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, he can almost forget the terrors of his past, or the promise he has vowed to keep. But across Europe an evil is rising, and no-one's safety is certain. In his heart, he knows the time will come when he must flee once more. In June 1951, while Isadora and Angelina are at the Sacremonte Cathedral, a “man, who was very tall and sunburnt, with a pair of deep brown eyes” who looked kind, but a bit sad, bought Isadora an ice cream, who then introduced him to Angelina. I'm sad that Lucinda Riley could not finish her series herself, but I think her son did an excellent job in finishing it off as per her plans. The last time we see Pa Salt in The Seven Sisters is in December 1929, where he is still living with Landowski and Laurent in Paris. The seven sisters are gathered together for the first time, on board the Titan to say a final goodbye to the enigmatic father they loved so dearly.I rarely shed a tear when reading novels, but confess this is one book that had me sobbing at the end. I think the culmination of this much-loved series coming to a close, the passing of the author before the end and the final parting scene which had all the feels got me! Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt was a most fitting tribute a once in a lifetime series and dearly missed author. With over 200 people now joined, hopefully together we can pull together a giant list of questions and theories, and start using our collective insights to predict what comes next. If you just want to lurk, that's also fine - I'll just keep talking to myself! Ir dar pagalvokim logiškai. Ateina random žmogus į vaikų namus ir sako, aš turiu jau penkias mergaites, noriu šitos, šią nakt galiu pasiimti ją ir išskristi? O taip žinoma. Paplekšnojam per petį ir atiduodam vaiką. Tiesiog skamba idaeliai. Tikrai jokio įtarimo negali sukelti. Ir čia ne viduramžiai, o 1982metai.

Just finished Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt.......or more accurately I've just finished ugly crying after finishing A:TSoPS!

You already had one, didn’t you, you naughty girl. That man bought one for you. There is so much sadness in the world... Ignoring the Pearl Sister, these people all fit in very well together - the timing all works out, and they show the development of Pa Salt as a person. In every instance he is caring and kind, particularly towards orphans and those who are disadvantaged. It also fits into the narrative in most cases for why he might have adopted each daughter, having met and respected their great/great-great grandmothers. Daily Mail on The Pearl Sister Captivating, magical, and heroic on the part of a son who has shown himself to have his mother’s writing talent and determination, Pa Salt and the Seven Sisters are now destined to forever be the ‘stars’ of a unique and classic time-travelling series

Viskas paslaptis atskleista. Ir kaip jaučiamės?This man fits in with the timing, as well as the general description of Pa Salt, and his own brief mention of how he met Tiggy’s relatives. y lo peor, fue saber que no sería Lucinda quien lo terminaría, ya que ella murió hace casi dos años ya. Pa Salt's journey was breathtaking, some parts were unbelievable, but in the end we got an answer to everything. The beginning was sometimes a bit confusing and I often had to turn to the other books to remember who is who... then I just started to write a chart to myself to mark the main places and people. I wish the Vaughan family storyline was more detailed. Atlas and Elle spent many years there and we only had two interactions with Flora. Electra's story was also a bit wobbly for me. It just felt too artificial that someone would keep a business card of a man who helped him once...I didn't feel the importance of this relationship. I really liked the explanations of Georg, Claudia and Marina. Pa Salt’s story is a disappointment. I had expected more from the man. I mean all he did was receive an enormous inheritance from his granny which turned him into this superrich dude. Not his own hard grafting whatsoever. An what did he do with his time? All he seems to have done is travel all over the globe collecting a score of babies. People seem to hand over babies to this guy like there are no rules for adoption whatsoever. Tearing infant twins apart? No problem. People give up children for adoption like it’s absolutely nothing all over the place. Maia seems to have had no problem with giving up hers. This book marks the conclusion of ‘The Seven Sisters’ Series. As the title suggests each book is dedicated to each sister, within each book is the story about their origins and they are all named after the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades. This book is the story of Pa Salt as the girls called him their adopted Father.

However, following the trend from the previous two books, we would expect Pa Salt to feel some sort of affection towards Flora - from what we’ve seen, she neither rescued nor had a relationship with him beyond being his employer. Perhaps he was just impressed by her drive to get the best for her children, no matter what?Pa Salt [steps out from his study]: “Oh, I thought you would ever ask! And since you’ve finally thought to ask, would you also like to know what I did before I got you, what I do now, how I made all my money, who the love of my life was, who my friends, colleagues, and enemies are, and how I’d planned to tell you all of these things if you didn’t ask?”
