Yeah, you gotta have a certain butt to really appreciate one of these saddles, but if you have that butt there is nothing that makes it more comfy on a long ride. The leather is thinner than many Brooks to keep the weight down so it may not be ideal for a heavy rider, but for me (185 lbs) I will never need to replace another saddle on this bike I expect. Comfy, but not any more comfortable then any other decent saddle. As oldgit says, they almost melt in prolonged rain. I also have a Team Pro Ti. If I'm not mistaken, I believe he was wondering why you would want to wait so long for a saddle to be broken in when you can buy other high quality saddles which don't require that kind of breaking in.After a short "breaking in" period the saddle moulds itself to your body's individual contours in much the same way as your favourite pair of walking boots did.This is truely nature's answer to anatomical fitting.

Me to. That’s why I fitted a swift. Thing is though if you fit one to a road bike that hasn’t got mudguards and ride it in the rain that lifetime will be less than 24 hours. Too me (a multiple Brooks user, oldest from 1988) it has always been part of ownership that if they get soaked you can’t sit on them until slowly dried without direct heat and then treated, or they sag. This in my knowledge has been the way since day dot.As someone that's old enough to ride pro bikes pre-Flite saddle days, Brooks was always somewhat heavier but none of the other saddles could compare to the comfort of a Brooks. I like the swallow! But Brooks weigh a ton, and I can't bring myself to get the Ti version. I would love the white Stussy edition though, there are still a few unsold in Tokyo....... the jaws are plastic, so there is no rust-marking of the wet leather. Let the leather dry out slowly.
