I think we allow our concern for what others think about us, dictate our moves too often and this prevents us from experiencing the joy of being what we want to be. Let’s say, you want to wake up at 6:00 AM every day, so to do that, you have to go to sleep at 10:00 PM. This way, you won’t feel tired all day but if you go to sleep at 2:00 AM then you won’t be waking up at 6:00 and even if you do, your day will get ruined. Building an identity based on what others think is ultimately destructive, because there may come a time when we don't get that support, and when it doesn't come we fail.
