About this deal

On a recent “real” camping adventure at Abbotstone Wood in Hampshire we were able to have an open campfire. This was great fun to build and meant only one thing was on our menu come tea time. S’mores! Add butter and rub it in with fingertips. This will give you a good feel for the texture you’re looking for. They are now made with bleached white flour, contrary to all Reverend Graham’s belief, and sweetly flavoured. Reactions to trend I'm so excited about this recipe!!!My mom use to make these when I was young, but hasn't been able to find her recipe! Thanks! I have been wondering the answer to this question for sometime so thank you for the interesting article (s)!

If you do try this recipe, I'd love to hear your thoughts on a taste test comparison. Thanks for stopping by. Yep, we have Harris Teeter, although I’ve never actually been in one – think the closest is about an hour from me.This was everyone’s favourite part of making S’mores. Take a digestive and pull/spread the cooked marshmallow onto the biscuit. Take another biscuit and lay on as many Cadbury Buttons as you can. Now quish them together. Give it a moment for the heat of the marshmallow to melt the chocolate. Now take a big bite and enjoy S’mores the British way. 3 Steps to make S’mores: Overall

Thanks so much, Ro. I saw the digestives on your blog - they came out great. You should still try this recipe though because they are different to digestives. It's just so hard to explain why. Try for yourself and you'll know. ;) This is the traditional method of making s’mores (and arguably the more fun, but also messier way). You melt your marshmallow over the fire and then build your s’more. I think for many Americans, there’s a novelty to Brit foods, though I certainly think it’s worth a trip to the UK for Brit pastries and real chips. Not to mention the pub grub (I well remember the “man-size” Yorkshire puddings at the pub in Skidby we used to visit when I was a student at Hull Uni), or getting chip butties and beans on toast in a naff caff. a b Iacobbo, Karen; Iacobbo, Michael (2004). Just For You

By the way I love the recipe extremely tastey and easy to make, don't want to sound like an arse just confused about the nunbers Ice Cream Cones – Both sugar cones and waffle cones have a sweet taste that will work great as the crust of a pie.
