About this deal

Despite minor flaws such as how unrealistic the characters *coughs* Alyssa *coughs* can be, It Ends with Us was fun to read and I admire how Hoover interweaves serious themes and personal experiences throughout the book. It gave It Ends with Us a more grounded take which I could relate to at times.

In the past and for forever, you are my favorite person. Always have been. Always will be. I love you. Everything that you are.”I think it’s important to note that Hoover also paints Lily a very supportive family/friends network—in her instance, her support system in regards to standing up to Rile is his family. Most people likely don’t have this, but it absolutely worked in this instance, for these characters as we’ve come to know them over these 2 books. Writing this review VERY late but goodness me, the moment I remembered about it, I knew I had to make a review for the series.

Every antagonist in “It Starts With Us” fell into a gray, middle-ground role of both victim and enabler, including both ex-lovers and ex-mothers. These complex characters were taught or treated poorly, leading them to be hurt and lash out against Lily and Atlas. The “antagonists” in the novel were not easy to dislike: They simply didn’t have the same resources as Lily and Atlas. They remained in a cycle of relationship violence, despite their efforts to start something new. The novel never paints them in a negative light but rather shows how these people may not fit in the lives of those recovering from abuse. The antagonists in “It Starts With Us” have the potential to be protagonists — if only given the proper help. Combined Print & E-Book Fiction". The New York Times. November 6, 2022 . Retrieved October 28, 2022. Thank you for being the most comforting part of my life right now. Thank you for always being the beacon I need every time I feel lost. Whether you mean to shine on me or not. I am grateful for you. I’ve missed you. I absolutely should have kissed you.” Theo making fun of Atlas was funny, I actually loved that because THE KEEP SWIMMING LINE WAS CORNY AS SHIT I DON’T CAREParis. Rome. London. I have no desire to sit on a hot beach somewhere. I want to see all the romantic places in Europe and make love in every city and take pictures kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower. I want to eat croissants and hold hands on trains.” atlas writing lily letters and saying “i love you” in a thousand different ways to offset ryle’s character…balance doesn’t work like that. With that being said; I read It Ends With Us in 2016. I truly loved how it ended, I thought it was the end. I did not ever expect it starts with us and yet I could not think of what a beautiful and necessary addition this is. i like to think ive matured and i wont be reading collen hoover from here on out, i repect the collen hoover fan though, more power to you Am I the only person on this planet to ever want a full length book on Theo and their most likely forbidden romance?!
