About this deal

There’s some great things about this book. Every time Foxy goes into details about his experiences of war, his projects since, his struggle with PTSD and how he’s helping people through similar situations today, I was gripped. This is the fifth or so self help book that I have read over recent years so I like to think I have a good feel for what makes a good one.

Foregoes the clinical language and uses military metaphors to make it accessible to the average person.Through an easy-to-follow book, in Jason’s own narrative directed at the reader as well as re-capping very touching, & at times, tense anecdotes of his own life, Jason portrays how to build inner strength & thrive under pressure! In 2017, Fox co-authored a book SAS: Who Dares Wins: Leadership Secrets from the Special Forces [7], with his fellow TV presenters and Special Forces soldiers Anthony Middleton, Matthew "Ollie" Ollerton and Colin Maclachlan. Initially, Jason supported production crews who were filming in hostile environments such as the jungle, the Arctic and the desert. Take control of your life, build resilience and learn to thrive in any situation with the powerful and inspiring new book from the number one bestselling author of Battle Scars. During my military career, I dealt regularly with fear, emotional breakdown, pain in hostile environments and the horrors of war. I summoned bravery during intense gun battles and, perhaps more courageously, raised my hand for help during my darkest moment - though it took a while. The psychological techniques I developed during my time as an elite operator still serve me today, in and out of danger.’ – Jason Fox I needed to contemplate that maybe the best thing was to kill myself. I changed my life hugely after that’

What has he appeared in since leaving the military service?

Move on from failure“Things go wrong all the time – you aren’t changing that. So embrace it. It’s a learning process. Use it as a tool to then go on and be better.” + Fear factor: ‘The moment that changed my life’ Fox, with his buddy of many years and co-star of SAS: Who Dares Wins Ollie Ollerton, co-founded Break Point – a corporate team building, training and events company.
