About this deal

While the Matika SP6000 has a high power-to-weight ratio, it’s impressive that the machine weighs a mere 9 pounds. It is not guaranteed to survive several hard falls, but a bit of caution will ensure the product gives you years of excellent service. Handling I am always trying to come up with better and more efficient ways to work. My Multi Purpose Table (MPT) design came from my desire for a more efficient way to work along with being able to build it myself rather than buying something commercially made. A result of the Imagine-Design-Build process. There’s no doubt that the Makita SP6000 is an impressive tool. However, there are a few things you may not like about it. Power The SP6000J1has an impresive 55mm max cutting depth and can also be tilted at a 45 degree angle and still cut 39mm deep. With its flat outer guard, it can cut extremely close to the wall, just 18mm away in fact. The SP6000J has a powerful 12 AMP motor with soft start for smooth start-ups, and Electronic Speed Control to maintain a constant speed under load for smooth cutting. The variable speed dial control (2,000 – 5,200 RPM) allows the user to set the speed for optimum performance in a variety of materials. The built-in torque limiter helps prevent motor burnout, with an electric brake for added productivity.

Power Cord Built-in depth stop allows a preliminary first cut of 2 to 3mm to be performed prior to cutting through the entire material for clean and splinter-free cutting The impressive 240v SP6000J1 Plunge Saw from Makita features a 55mm max cutting depth and 45 degree angle. Supplied as a kit, for even greater value. metre Guide Rails (x2 + P-45777 single joining bar supplied) interact with the saw base to provide smooth, perfect, dead-on straight or bevel cutting Amp motor with variable speed control dial (2,000 – 5,200 RPM) for optimum performance in a variety of materialsA part of the Huws Gray Group, Anglia Tool Centre is one of the largest power tool suppliers in the UK, delivering quality power tools nationwide from Makita, Dewalt, Festool and many more leading tool brands

The SP6000J1 has a powerful 12 AMP motor with soft start for smooth start-ups, and Electronic Speed Control to maintain a constant speed under load for smooth cutting. The variable speed dial control (2,000 – 5,200 RPM) allows the user to set the speed for optimum performance in a variety of materials. The built-in torque limiter helps prevent motor burnout, with an electric brake for added productivity. The SP6000J2 saw has a bevel capability of -1° to 48° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45°. The saw delivers precise cutting, as the position of the blade enters the material on the same cutting line whether cutting straight or bevel. In addition, the saw has close-to-wall cutting (18mm) for expanded cutting applications. The built-in depth stop allows a preliminary cut of 2mm to be performed before the entire material is cut through for clean and splinter-free cutting. 12 AMP Direct-Drive Power for Smooth CuttingThe Makita has an 8' long power cord which works fine but it would be helpful if it was a little bit longer. Many of the newer power tools these days are being supplied with longer cords in the 16' range which come in very handy since in a lot of situations an extension cord can be avoided. Blade MAKITA SP6000J1 165MM CIRCULAR PLUNGE SAW 240V WITH 2X 1.5M RAILS, CONNECTOR AND MAKPAC CASE and MAKITA B-09298 165MM X 20MM X 48T SPECIALIZED BLADE FOR SP6000 PLUNGE SAW The bevel guide located at the front and rear has an easy to read layout as well as 4- and 22.5-degree positive stops. The maximum bevel is 48 degrees which aids in those funky angles we run into. And if you find the occasion to use it, there is also a 1-degree counter bevel. Why is that important?
