About this deal

Every time you reach for earphone/IEM cables to connect them to your earphones/IEM, no matter how neatly you "wrapped" them up, they end up in a giant Gordian knot of frustration. Tangled cables are the bane of modern existence, and everyone owning a wired pair of earphones/IEM can attest to this. On the top of the monitor shell is the recessed 0.78mm diameter 2-Pin female connector that offers a tight and secure fit to the male connectors. The build quality of the housing looks of high quality and fulfills my expectations from a product in this price category. Mids are lush and it is very evident in Sinne Eeg’s We’ve Just Begun, plenty of details in the midrange and very pleasant to listen to when paired with Questyle’s M15

Thank you for the reply! And yes that is basically what I have experienced as well. I bought Tanya, Ola and Chu just to try different signatures (well perhaps not Chu and it is just as you say it becomes a side-grade that it doesn’t see much uses at all) to see what I actually prefer because all the IEMs I had were mostly V-shape where the mids are nowhere to be seen. The original Aria released in the year 2017,which sports completely different design,i have also reviewed the 2021 Aria and they were good, technicalities and everything else, but the tuning was just too “safe” to many other people including me. Fast forward to 2022 June,Aria has been re-released with some changes to it. The driver has been replaced with Diamond Like LCP Diaphragm, cosmetic changes, and also some changes in terms of tuning. Safe to say I personally prefer this tuning over the 2021 Aria. The Moondrop Aria Snow Edition has a fairy linear bass response from the subbass up to the midbass area. It offers a good grade of authority and speed in this region especially in for an In-Ear Monitor at this price tag. The subbass region is moderately pronounced and slightly less highlighted compared to the midbass region. The Aria Snow Edition offers a sufficient level of depth and intensity, while wont show enough rumble for bass heavy genres like EDM, Bassline, Dubstep, Trance, etc. A good upgrade over the Snow Edition would be the Tanchjim Oxygen. The Oxygen is harmanish with more subbass/treble extension and less upper mids than the Snow Edition. In all honesty, some areas are done better on the Aria 2021, while others areas are better on the Snow Edition. The Aria Snow feels heavier in the hand but it is more comfortable to wear, despite the weight difference. The first section of the frequency spectrum is the sub-bass. Everything below 80Hz is sub-bass, so generally, you This dynamic part is always hard to explain, but let say Moondrop tend to be light in weighty impact, especially in mid range which seem tamed in loudness scaling, since bass is light too here, dynamic is more felt in upper range, which tend to be more open, airy and edgy-snappy-bity. Tin HIFI T3 – the weakest of the lot IMO. Mild V shaped, bassy set, quite fun sounding. But it has a one-noted undefined bass, so it loses points in my book. The mids are also the most recessed of all the above, so might not be best for vocal lovers.

Up close, the design looks really stunning with its matte-silver finish and an intricate snowflake design on the face plate. I’m pretty impressed with the visual glow-up of this monitor. It just looks elegant while keeping a low-profile factor. Comfort & Isolation Moondrop is popular among CHI-FI enthusiasts, and they have released several crowd-favorite IEMs, such as the CHU, Blessing 2, Dusk, Aria 2021, KATO, and Starfield (just to name a few). Moondrop has even ventured into earbuds, some considered best-in-class (eg Chaconne and Liebesleid). Moondrop recently entered the TWS game with the Sparks and Nekocake. Technical SpecificationsBoth In-Ear Monitors do offers a fairly precise placement and separation of instruments and vocals. The Aria Snow Edition has the slightly edge when it comes to the depth of the stage, while both IEM’s do have a relative similar performance when it comes to the wideness of the soundstage.
