About this deal

Shape is King. The Number 1 factor when it comes to aim. Re-invented by a legend in the game. The MZ1, Zy's Rail but now with lag-free wireless connectivity. I also think that the way the holes in the shell have been placed slightly defeats the purpose of having holes in the first place.

If like me, you’re the type of person that regularly changes DPI depending on what you’re doing with the mouse, this will be an inconvenience. It’s another thing to be on the other side of the wall, actively involved in building that product so that reviewers like myself can take pleasure in analyzing and slapping a verdict on it. I absolutely love this. Everything you need to get going for years and years can be found in the box. It’s especially nice to see replacement feet included in the box of a mouse that’s aimed at hardcore gamers, as those users are far more likely to care about their skates degrading, so it’s definitely nice to see that Xtrfy thinks about that with all of their releases. Shape, Coating, and Mouse Feet As I mentioned a couple of times during this review, the Xtrfy MZ1 mouse is not for everyone. They are unapologetically targeting a niche audience and by all indications, I don’t fit into that demographic. Keep that in mind while I run through my verdict. That physical footprint alienates gamers that prefer mice with enough palm support, but it’s great for those that prefer to have more room to enable micro aim adjustments by the fingers. The narrow width also makes it feel like the mouse is barely there when you’re holding it, which some people might enjoy. Customization The Xtrfy M4 mouse also had the same DPI levels and no companion software to cycle through them easily, so it looks like this is a habit of the manufacturer, albeit a bad one.

XTRFY EZ Cord Pro (New): The MZ1 comes with the new Xtrfy EZcord Pro. Softer, lighter and more flexible, but not at the cost of durability. At Xtrfy, quality comes first and the EZcord Pro is made to last. The Xtrfy MZ1 Wireless uses the 3370 sensor instead of the 3389 that was found in the wired version. Both of those sensors are absolutely flawless, and just like in the wired version the sensor has been implemented perfectly here. It performs without any hiccups and doesn’t spin out, and Xtrfy’s wireless performance has been shown to be perfectly reliable in the past as well. The coating on the MZ1 Wireless still doesn’t feel fantastic. It’s not as grippy as it could be, though that’s not something that’s an issue since the holes do help with grip. Still, if Xtrfy ever moves to solid shells I’d like to see a change in the coating because this gloss/matte hybrid isn’t something that I personally like. One thing that I did notice was that the side buttons are very small, even for a small mouse. It’s another one of the reasons why I believe that certain sections of gamers will struggle to use this mouse as a daily driver. This Xtrfy MZ1 wireless mouse review shares my honest opinions about the result of that collaboration. It covers everything from the product’s design to gaming performance and other stuff that’s important when choosing a gaming mouse.Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital (UK) PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. All impressive effects can be set directly on the mouse, so no additional software is required. The lighting settings are stored in the onboard memory of the mouse and can therefore be called up anywhere. You can also change the weight distribution of the mouse by changing the position of the battery. If you prefer a top-heavy, bottom-heavy, or balanced mouse, all you have to do is unscrew a few screws and move the battery to achieve your desired result. Coating

DiamondLobby is a registered trade mark (UK00003715943) and is owned and operated by Rank Zero LTD, Company Number 10507049. The Kailh GM 8.0s are so popular in the gaming mice market that it’s almost boring, but that’s only because they’re so efficient and you simply don’t fix something that’s not broken. It’s a pretty small mouse. 111mm is shorter than any gaming mouse that I can recall using in a long time, and 59mm width is also pretty narrow. When placed correctly, I don’t mind shell holes as they give my palm some room to breathe, especially during extended gaming sessions. However, the holes that run along the sides of the Xtrfy MZ1 seem to be exactly where my fingers should go. However, I also think that if it’s just not for you, then it’s not for you. There will be many people that will struggle to get used to this mouse as a daily driver simply because it’s just not physically practical for the way that they use their mice. The Xtrfy MZ1’s design is undoubtedly one of its standout features, but it is also one of the reasons why this mouse might not be for everybody. I may go as far as calling it a “niche” mouse, but that’s only good or bad depending on who you are and what you need. Shape That being said: I firmly believe that all of this is subjective. For some people, small mice are the name of the game, while others will perform at their best with a larger (and perhaps heavier) mouse. You may not immediately notice it, but the shape isn’t perfectly symmetrical. There’s a small indentation for your thumb on the left side, for example, and that’s not there on the right side. There are also very pronounced comfort grooves (something that RJN greatly appreciates in mice) and all of this leads to a mouse that’s a lot more ‘formed’ than what you usually find on small mice, as those usually tend to go for a neutral, almost eggy shape. Weighing just 62g , the Xtrfy MZ1 RGB is wirelessvery light and allows particularly nimble and precise mouse movements in fast-paced game situations. In addition, the mouse is equipped with the very flexible EZcord-Pro cable , which impresses with its high flexibility. The three rounded sliding feet of the Xtrfy MZ1 are made of 100% PTFE and enable low-friction movements on the mouse pad.
