About this deal

I bought the Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite, for its grip and adjustable number pad. At the time, I could not find a mouse under about 120g. I thought the mouse felt okay, definitely better than the Redragon regarding grip. Unfortunately, it was still heavy, and the number buttons were too easy to press (many accidental presses). The rubber grip is also a little rough/pokey. Needless to say, i was having some regrets about the mouse's price tag. Like the Naga Pro, the Razer Naga X is a well designed and comfortable gaming mouse. It is also much lighter than the Naga Pro, coming in at 85 grams — a full 32 grams lighter. The lighter weight is definitely noticeable, and, as a result, the mouse is easier to slide around during use and gaming. Software

Needs work

As I began playing (casual/tactical) shooters on PC, i came to appreciate having the number row (weapon/equipment) controlled by my thumb. Note that I play games like Battlefield and Insurgency, not Quake. Generally, it's not important for me to keep perfect aim while I use the number row, due to weapon switch delay and whatnot. I've also found the buttons helpful for games with lots of inventory items, like Minecraft and Sea of Thieves. Directly switching to weapons/items is much faster and more reliable than scrolling (or radial menus to some extent), and i don't like taking my hand off of WASD for so long. has just started, and with CES behind us, you’d think the new product announcements would be dying down. That is not the case as Razer has just released the new lightweight Naga X Ergonomic MMO Gaming Mouse. If last year was any indication, this will just be the first of many new Razer products this year. Yes, my pet. Your scent is very strong, but beneath it, I can smell his arousal growing,” the Viper supplied slowly, the smirk on his face almost audible. “Isn’t that perverted? He likes seeing you break apart for me.” The Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite was mainly made for the MOBA and MMO (duh). And by that, they made the design ideal for long gaming matches. Overall, the Razer Naga design has not changed a lot, it has a small resting place for your finger on the right side, and the general shape of the mouse fits nicely in your hand. The Naga X is 119.13 x 74.50 x 42.93mm, and it weighs about 110g.

Razer Naga X Review - IGN

My fix was to leave the 7-9 buttons unbound. If I have problems telling the difference between the second and third rows, it's better to just remove the third row. This gave me nine buttons to work with, which worked out pretty well overall. I was able to hit my standard rotation in both WoW and FFXIV with little issue. Of course, when buying a mouse with a 12-button thumbpad, the goal is to have 12 easily usable side buttons. I hope you've enjoyed my report, feel free to ask me questions or whatever. I'm just very happy with this mouse and could see myself using it for a long time. Passionate about mice? The new opticals will probably last longer than the previous switches used by Razer, even by their nature, but if they fail, there are already replacement options on the market, albeit not too many as of yet (as you can't put mechanical switches to mice that use optical ones by default, so the technology needs more time to be more widely used to have more options on the aftermarket). The main downsides (for me) of the Redragon were it's weight and poor grip. The ring finger and pinky rests were too sloped to get a firm grip. The Naga X is also much lighter than its siblings in the Naga range, which is great for anyone who prefers keeping their mouse as light as possible. It weighs in at 85 grams, which is far below the 117 grams of the Naga Pro. It's also wired, which is still the gold standard for many PC gamers, even as wireless tech continues to get much better. Also, you can easily assign patterns to the RGB lighting zones. The iCue software also provides you with a very helpful calibration tool. The materials feel premium, and it has a matte finish on the buttons and the palm rest all the way to the small plastic details found below the left mouse button.

When it comes to MMO mice, you're mostly going to look elsewhere within the Naga range for competition. The Naga Pro is the top of the line if you want to go wireless and get swappable side panels. However, it's much more expensive, coming in at nearly double the price of the Naga X. My thumb sits mostly on the 5 button with the 1-3 row easily reachable with my thumb's tip. My ring and pinky fingers sit comfortably, and my pinky is able to provide lots of grip without cramping. In general, the grooves of this mouse are very ergonomic and satisfying.
