About this deal

It’s the Big Daddy, no doubt about it. It’s a 10 Amp battery charger, a beast! But the Genius10 is not the cheapest car charger you can get, so the obvious question is: is it worth it? Maintenance: Automatically turns on and turns off the charging process while conditioning the battery every 24-hours with absolutely zero overcharge.

NOCO GENIUS10 Reviews - NOCO

The NOCO Genius10 is suitable for use with many types of battery including lead acid in both 6 and 12 volts plus 12v gel type and AGM batteries. It is even compatible with lithium ion batteries. A re-designed clamp provides easy attachment to battery terminals of all shapes and sizes including M6 male and female threaded terminals. The new integrated thermal sensor automatically monitors and adjusts the charging cycle based on fluctuations of ambient temperature, limiting the chance of under charging or over charging, providing a more accurate and fully charged battery. Avoids under charging in cold weather down to -4F and avoids over charging in hot weather up to 104F. But whilst the glossy touch-sensitive front panel looks great, we suspect its cost robs the unit of more desirable features, such as a better charge process indicator – the single LED only shows if the unit is charging or finished. Ring's RSC612 has been around for some years now, but that's testimony to Ring getting it right from the start and the unit being incredibly cutting edge when launched. Even now, lithium is the only modern battery technology that it doesn't support. By the way, there is an even bigger beast (the NOCO Genius Pro 50), but only really for professional users, with price to match, Any other Genius10 benefits I should be aware of?

Multiple Modes - Safely charge and maintain both 6-volt and 12-volt vehicle or leisure batteries, including Flooded, AGM, EFB, Lithium and Start-Stop batteries You probably get more peace of mind with this charger than any other. Why? Because of 12V Force Mode. Brilliant piece of equipment. Made light of recharging three different types of batteries. Easy to use, sturdy construction and clear and obvious with coloured indicator lights that are easy to see.

The MXS 10 is a charger that offers state of the art technology. It is ideal for professional use and excellent in workshops, caravans, motorhomes, boats or cars. The MXS 10 is perfect for solving a broad range of battery problems. It offers features such as battery diagnosis which shows if a battery can receive and retain a charge, a special re... Simple to set up and use - Plug-in, connect to the battery, select a charge mode, and start charging your battery. A fully-automatic, worry-free battery charger for year-round use. It's unusual, too, for a recently launched battery charger to have just three stages in its charging cycle. This little beauty is gods gift to batteries. Simple and convenient to use on most batteries about today, connect and leave to do its magic. Very pleased with my choice and nice to see a company that has been around for so long and still making great products.

With the help of a good quality solar panel regulator , they will help keep your leisure batteries topped up. It’s designed with all technology needed for Lithium batteries. But if you’re keen to have a charger specifically for Lithium batteries, the CTEK LithiumXS charger is the one for you. Does the NOCO 10 have advantages over other, cheaper battery chargers? To recap, I had been charging the battery connecting it to the bolt that went into the car from the car wiring attached to its own positive and negative bolts. While jump starting the car worked, I knew that something was stopping the battery from receiving and keeping enough of the charge from my Genius chargers to recharge the nearly dead battery. I reasoned that the battery was not receiving enough energy from my chargers to overcome the draw from the car and charge the battery at the same time. How could I remove the car wiring from the car and still charge it without a post?

Force Mode will charge your battery even if voltage gets as low as 0 volts (in reality it will be just above 0, maybe 0.01V). Since the NOCO Genius 10 UK has desulfation as part of its charging process, there’s no doubt it will keep your battery healthier and last longer, maybe even double its lifespan. NOCO battery chargers take things a step further by detecting sulfation and acid stratification – electrolytes concentrating at the bottom of the battery, starving the top – to restore lost battery performance. Simple To Set Up• Supply - Provides reliable and stable power for maintaining onboard computer settings while replacing a vehicle battery, as well as, powering 12-volt device like tire inflator. Again, I am not that great mechanically, but I am tenacious. I reasoned it was time to charge only the battery, without the battery attached to the 2005 Cadillac STS. I had just read that some cars can draw a charge from the battery even though the cars are off.

Meet the GENIUS 10UK – Similar to our G7200, just better. It’s 17% smaller and delivers 115% more power. And it’s simpler and easier to use than ever before. Charges dead batteries as low as 1-volt. Or use the all-new Force Mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries down to zero volts. We’ve mentioned a couple, the quality and reliability you’d expect from a NOCO product. With higher quality components and hardier materials it’s just less likely to break down or create a dangerous scenario (though not impossible, of course).

NOCO - 10-Amp Smart Battery Charger - GENIUS10

Laser's 7652 pips Halfords' Advanced Smart Battery Charger as the best all rounder for less than fifty quid. Both models output up to 4 Amps, but the 7652's more sophisticated charge cycle gives faster charge times. A dedicated mode for winter operation (less than 5 deg C) also helps in this respect. This charger utilises the latest battery charging technology which allows them to convert energy 30,000 times faster than conventional car battery chargers. This 10A charger is suitable for car, motorcycle, ATV and lawnmower applications and can be left connected for all season use. This unit is suitable for both 6V and 12V batteries. Recovers batteries discharged as low as 1V. Suitable for Start-Stop and CANbus vehicles. Restore your battery – Detects sulfation and acid stratification and restores lost performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life. Thirdly, the Genius10UK has 12V Supply Mode, which is, well, exactly what it sounds like. If you have any portable electronics devices that work by 12V supply then you can power them. Devices like air pumps, water pumps as well as gadgets like mobile phones, tablets and GPS units can all be powered in this way. In the review, we reveal the best battery charges available today, while also sharing which device you should avoid.

I had a smaller version but it took a couple of days to fully charge a large 180 amp hour battery, this one I put it on a battery in the evening and its fully charged the next day. However, short mains and charge leads, a high price, non-IP65 construction, and no separate reconditioning mode all cost it points. Again, the Genius5 works well with really desperate batteries, automatically detecting those with as little as 1 volt charge left and giving the option of forcing current into even more dilapidated ones.
