Ben Cort's illustrations are fun and colourful, perfectly capturing Claire Freedman's words and help children engage with the story. The illustrations are nice and the rhythm of the book is easy enough to find. The plot is pretty clear and it is well paced, this is probably one of the better books in the series. Though at the same time, the series is fairly repetitive in a way. Closed captions refer to subtitles in available languages with the addition of relevant non-dialogue information.
