About this deal

The Moodd features a decent seat size at 49cm high, 23cm deep and 35cm wide. The fabric on the seat unit completely removes in one piece for easy cleaning and is connected by 4 poppers across the top, 2 in the middle and 6 on the bottom. Even the harness pads can be taken off in case of dribbles or ice cream stains. Because of the modern design of the pushchair, the shape of the seat does leave the child quite open and exposed. Are you looking to buy a pram or travel system, considering the Quinny Moodd buggy and want to read a Quinny Moodd review? Our Quinny Moodd review: We love a good handlebar, as it's important for the adult to be comfy with the push. Covered with soft foam it has a good adjustable scope for the majority of sizes. Something that is common with modern pushchairs is that the adjustment button is placed right in the centre, so if you are pushing one handed from the centre of the handlebar, it can make it slightly difficult to manoeuvre. Although it doesn’t fare so well as an city / urban pram for reasons I’ll come on to shortly, it was great on longer walks, through parks and on uneven pavements and roads. I imagine it will be very useful in colder weather too

If you are discounting this pushchair because it only has three wheels and you are a four-wheeler sort of gal, then don't despair as the Moodd will change to suit yours. The front wheel unit listed in the accessories is the alternative two-wheel front fork, instead of the single wheel that comes supplied as standard. Conclusion We were recently invited along to meet with Quinny at The Baby Show, for a special top secret buggy review mission. We were given the new model of the Moodd to try out while we were there, and have been reviewing it for the past few weeks. So here’s what we thought (you can also read my iCandy Raspberry review, Britax Affinity review and Armadillo Flip XT review) Baby is kept very comfy with a double mattress. Not only is there an included removable mattress, but the bottom of the liner is also padded. Both the mattress and liner are colour coded with a slightly lighter shade than the pushchair, so it looks great. A padded apron zips over the top to protect them from the elements.Included exclusively with the Quinny Moodd is the Baby Cocoon, allowing you to use the seat unit in the lay flat position from birth. Great if you don't want to use a carrycot. Made from a beautiful soft material, it offers much needed support to a newborn. It features a headrest and body support to keep them in a good position, but this can all be removed by a zip as they grow and no longer need it. The front of the cocoon zips completely off for warmer weathers and has 2 buttons at the top to keep it folded down from the child's face. The seat is padded and slightly curved round the sides which makes for a good head rest. Eliza finds it really comfortable (and the acid test; she fell asleep in it within about 10 minutes at The Baby Show) Our flat is up two flights of stairs, and as we don’t like to leave things downstairs overnight we need something that’s fairly portable The Quinny Moodd is majestic stroller featuring a distinctive design. The chassis of the Moodd is similar to the inferior Buzz - three-wheeled and quite wide. It automatically unfolds itself thanks to the hydraulic mechanism. The front double wheel is easily maneuverable and can also be replaced with an optional axle with two single wheels, creating a Quinny Moodd 4 variation. Rear wheels are large and foam-filled.

Home > Children & Babies > Strollers > Quinny Strollers > Quinny Moodd Stroller Manual Quinny Moodd Stroller The internal liner is very soft, though you can still feel the side supports at the top and bottom through it. All of the fabrics can be removed for hand washing. The inside of the carrycot measures 74cm long and 29cm wide, so it should last until the child is around 6 months old. Serial shoppers won't be overly impressed with the shopping basket on the Moodd. It's quite small and shallow with a maximum capacity of 5kg. As it's only accessible from the sides, because of the design of the frame, you won't be able to just reach down from the steering position. There is a change to the 2015 Moodd with the basket now being colour coded to match the hue of your pushchair. Again, like the Buzz, the basket is extremely shallow and not of great use because the front axle stem limits the height of anything you may want to carry. The styling on the Quinny Moodd is quite different from other pushchairs out there. It has eye-catching, stylish looks that really stand out. With the elongated stem protruding from the centre of the chassis, the rear is curved upwards creating plenty of room for your legs. The glossy chassis is matched by the shiny plastics on the seat.

From six months+ you can use the normal seat, which can be in both forward and parent facing modes and has three levels of recline The Quinny Moodd is strong, stable and robust. It’s light to push and easy to steer, even one handed. The air tyres means it’s a very smooth ride The brake controls are on the inside of the rear wheels. The right is red and applies the brake - the grey releases it, both are step-on mechanisms – so no broken toe nails!

And speaking of, the shopping basket is wide but very shallow, and as the bar of the pram cuts across the top so it’s difficult to put any big bags in it (and loose items aren’t particularly stable). Obviously this isn’t a deal breaker, but it does make your life a lot more difficult when you’re shopping Aesthetically I've been dying to take a closer look. I've been a little concerned that I may have fallen for its charms because I was a little bit giddy with so many pushchairs around me at the time. However, I'm glad to report that our second date has not been disappointing and so far I still see potential. Of course, I can't make any kind of commitment until we are better acquainted but so far so good! With 3 recline positions world and parent facing, the Moodd seat offers a fully lay flat base, extending from the middle of the seat. The Quinny Moodd is a really strong, robust pram. You get a lot of pram for the money and features like the automatic unfold are really unusual and clever. It’s very easy to get up, down, change the seat round and put in recline. We were really impressed with the design, look and feel and how easy to use it was. The Maxi Cosi integration is really useful, as are the free adaptors.Solid tires make a stroller very agile. A disadvantage is that solid tires provide less dampening and are therefore less comfortable than air or foam tires. Maxi Coxi carseat adaptors are included, so you don’t have to fork out extra for these – and it fits the Stage 1 Maxi Cosi carseats Suitable from birth to 15kg, it comes with a padded ‘baby nest’ cocoon that fits on top of the seat when reclined and is secured with the straps. We haven’t used this but it looks pretty cosy The beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd.

Known for creating beautiful products that will grow with you and your children, Quinny pushchairs offer unique and innovative design combined with ultimate practicality, right from day one. But if none of these issues are a factor – e.g. if you live in a house, on the ground floor, drive a car with a big boot, don’t have to use public transport – it’s definitely one to consider, especially as it’s so comfortable for babies and mine loved it.The casing on the seat unit reflects the glossy plastic used on the rear wheels. It gives such a ‘car showroom' finish to the overall look but you must remember to treat it carefully, scratches are going to be as noticeable as a keyed car on the Moodd.
