The outfield kit is a classic white design as a homage to our first team photograph in 1877 whilst the goalkeeper kit is a soft shade of blue, inspired by bluebells. IN March 2022, Rangers Football Club will celebrate the monumental milestone of the club's 150th anniversary. 2021 will see the build-up to this special occasion begin, with that landmark being followed shortly afterwards by the 50th anniversary of our European Cup Winners’ Cup win celebrations in May 2022. It is similar to the current one, but will have a scroll underneath which says: "150 years" and will also have "1872" and "2022" on either side of it.Rangers have gone on to become one of the biggest names in world football with millions of passionate followers worldwide. Despite its global fanbase, the club’s roots in the local community remain as strong as ever. Forever proud of our origins, it was important to launch a crest that upholds the Rangers values and details which are symbolic to the club. The ribbon which features below the crest design was influenced by the decorative crests from the club's earliest documented member books which feature an ornamental scroll ribbon. The ribbon design is synonymous with Ibrox where it features in the crests displayed on the side elevation of the iconic Bill Struth Main Stand.
Rangers unveil 150th anniversary kit with stunning Gallant
A 150th anniversary Fan Village will be created at Ibrox stadium for the Aberdeen, Weekend of Legends, and Celtic fixtures, with a wide range of activities planned for all the family. The Fan Village will include a number of activations, including live entertainment, a pop-up museum exhibition and football activities. Supporters are at the heart of everything we do at Rangers, and that will be no different as we mark our 150th year. As an extra special touch, the words “Gallant Pioneers” have been embossed into the fabric to immortalise the great Bill Struth’s quote:“No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.” It features both the old-fashioned Lion Rampant crest and Adidas badge, with the iconic three stripes on the sleeve which are the same colour as the rest of the top.

And club chairman Douglas Park insists it will be huge for the club as he promised supporters will be at the centre of it. The shirt features an off-centre, buttoned collar which featured prominently on our first kits within the 1800s.
